As much as I want to, I'm still not counting him out. There's a ton of low information voters, partisans, and people who just don't care what he does who will vote for him no matter how low he crawls.
What does that say about the supporters of the Cons if the Leader they had was used as their greatest liability. Firts you have to show that Harper was bucking the global leaders and was doing what was right for Canada rather than going along with what was right fot the IMF and her friends.
At this point, my feeling is that this is election is more of a metric on Canadian voters and their tolerance and acceptance of corruption, virtue signalling, and pandering more than it is a metric on Trudeau and his performance. Some were blissfully ignorant of exactly who Trudeau was last go around...not this time. This time we know exactly who Trudeau is and it's up to voters to accept it or reject it.
The bolded part are talking points from the last election, from the other side and it seems to have worked for the Libs quite well. You know JT after just a few years of seeing him walk around at the end of a long line of people that are more important than he is.To do that the Cons have to dismiss how badly they ran the place in the 10 years before that. Couldn't have been all that well if the Libs won on a platform. "We are not Harper and the Cons'.
You say that like we deserved what Harper and the PM's before him did to Canadians for the sake of influence from friends in foreign lands. If Canadian voters re-elect Trudeau and give him another mandate, then Canadians as a whole deserve exactly what we get.
