Really, I will have to let a couple of reformed addicts/alcoholics know that they don't NEED religion/God.

cause you're such an idiot that when you read something on the internet and you don't agree you feel the need to go and tell people you know...?

maybe you should just grow up and get over yourself.

I'm the idiot, when it was you that made a definitive statement concerning what people need and don't need. Riiiiiiight.

While I myself am not an atheist there can be no question that when religion is brought up on any thread here, the hate snowballs and is spewed everywhere.

Just like I'm told if I ignore the teachings of the Bible I'll know God's wrath, etc, etc.

You cannot prove that your interpretations of God are the true ones.
....
And it's a wonder people won't follow your version of religion?

I can prove the Quran interpretation is of God:
If you refer to OP, you will see that the Quran entirely pertains to God alone and invites people to God alone without associate or equal or peer.
So this is the best proof that the Quran is from God; while the books that are not from God will invite people to the idolatry and to the teachings of men.

The final sentence you said about "people are not following my version of religion": This is the best proof that it is from God: Had it not been from God, you would have seen people following it by millions.

Because it is a matter of guidance of God: He guides whomever He pleases :) the merciful and kind-hearted towards the needy), and He misguides whomever He dislikes :) the hard-hearted and the transgressor on the weak.)

Most people in fact follow the concepts of falsehood, and they like the life of the World more than the Next Life, and they like to be free of obligation in order to be profligate in their life time.

======================================================

The Christ said to them: all of you have come against me with sticks and clubs!

What I have said is: the Quran invites people to glorify God, and all of you arose against me!
This is a best proof of my words: that you oppose the commandments of God in fact.

And yet a Christian, or Jew, or anyone else with Religion (admittedly I'm sticking to the Abrahamic ones) could say the exact same thing, and be just as 'truthful' as you.

And claim that you and yours don't follow "The True God".

I say your version - just as I say to anyone of any religion - because that is all it is. Your personal version of God. It will match no one else's version of God. It will never be totally the same despite the books you may follow. What is acceptable to one person in regards to God, is not by another.

You say this:
Because it is a matter of guidance of God: He guides whomever He pleases :) the merciful and kind-hearted towards the needy), and He misguides whomever He dislikes :) the hard-hearted and the transgressor on the weak.)
and yet YOU are the one dictating who God will and will not guide or accept, like or dislike. Do you not see the problem here with your own words?

You also said this:
that you oppose the commandments of God in fact.

However that is not true, not at all. I follow the ultimate commandment of God, the one that is highest above all others.
