So - the host is being quite polite, he's presenting both sides he's not being inflammatory or the like, and she explodes on him.
This is the problem with the left these days. They are so angry and hate filled about EVERY topic they want to discuss that it becomes very hard to have a rational conversation with any of them about anything important. (sorry - essential oils are not important).
The fact that this is someone associated with SCHOOLS - and is THIS hatred driven - is mildly horrific.
There was a time when left and right and center could disagree but still have a sane conversation about it without freaking out like a banshee. And stuff got discussed and opinions were formed and things got done. How did we get here.
We got here because Marxism isn't about rational debate or compromise. It's about constantly demonizing anyone and everyone who opposes you. It's about insisting that every little thing that's stuck in your craw should constitute an existential crisis for everyone else. It's about not listening to any opinion that isn't part of your echo chamber. But ultimately it's about absolute control. And if they can't get it via manipulation or fiat, then eventually they'll try to take it by force. Unless people wake up and start treating them like the vermin they are.
A lot of shit you're seeing from the left is straight outta the KGB's playbook for bringing the West down. Indoctrination via the education system. The continual dividing of the population into different sub-groups, the more us vs them there is the better. Taking over the media, news media in particular even if that means unasked for "bailouts". A greater centralization of power. Attacks on the country's institutions to destabilize them and ultimately corrupt them. Voter influencing (Social media has turned out to be a "great" platform for that with it's "social media influencers").
The KGB even had detailed instructions on how just 4 people could influence an entire room of people. Notice how the ALT-left likes to pretend they're the majority, or at least that the majority agrees with their crap? It's a form of emotional manipulation that preys on people's desire to belong and be "on the right side" of things. It appeals to people's herd mentality. ("Well, if 90% of the people in the room feel/think a certain way, I should too!) It's because people tend to assume that if a majority (or a "stated" majority) of people are for or against something then they must be right.
But just like might doesn't always equal right, sharing a majority opinion doesn't always equal right either.
And let's look at that term, "stated majority". It means someone is simply claiming there's a majority even when there isn't one.
The 97% consensus is probably the most famous one right now. Two-thirds of the scientists who were sent the IPCC survey didn't bother with it, with a number of them stating the survey was pre-concluded garbage. Of the one-third who did respond 97% agreed with its premise. That means out of ALL the scientists who were surveyed, only 32% agreed with the premise.
In Ontario, Libtards and Dipshits insisted that a sex-ed curriculum that was drafted by a convicted pedophile had overwhelming parental support. They sent out 4000 surveys (a whole 4000) and got 1700 back. Not even a 50% return and the leftards called that overwhelming parental support. We don't even know what the numbers were on the ones that were returned. We were just supposed to take their bullshit word for it.
