Why is this news coming from Russia rather than the American media??

US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was rushed offstage by security officials during a speech in Reno, Nevada this evening.

Two security personnel grabbed the candidate mid-speech and hustled him out of the spotlight. The reason for the interruption is not yet known.

An Influential Pastor Just Nailed Misogynist Male Christian Trump Supporters

The extreme Christian supporters of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump present themselves as righteous holy rollers doing the work of God, but that is a ruse meant to disguise their true intentions of making women mere sexual pawns and exert patriarchal dominance over them. This fact was aptly pointed out by John Pavlovitz, a minister from Raleigh, North Carolina who published a scathing statement indicting all of the individuals who partake in this behavior.

Pavlovitz attempted to spare no feelings when he warned women about Trump, his supporters, and how those individuals truly view a woman’s role in society:

To them, you aren’t separate but equal, as they might claim from the pulpit. You may be made in the image of God, but not in the same way that they are. You are inferior. You are lesser than. You are Adam’s rib meat; baby machines, meal preparers, arm candy, pleasure tools designed by God for men to use as they desire. Some of these men of God will have the guts to actually say this, others will simply prove it to you. They are proving it to you now. Listen to them.”
Pavlovitz says in their twisted patriarchal world, the men on the Christian Right think all men act like Trump, all men talk this way, all men think this way, but adds, “No, we don’t—but they do.”

A line was drawn in the proverbial sand by Pavlovitz who harpooned the hypocrisy of Trump’s supporters. Trump claims to respect women, as do those who are in favor of his candidacy. Yet, that does not rationally follow for if it were true, and if these individuals did have respect for women, they’d dump Trump immediately:

If these professed men of God truly acknowledged your inherent value, they would be fiercely defending you right now, instead of Donald Trump. They would be openly condemning such disregard for the image of God within you, and sharply severing their ties with him—but many of them they aren’t. They’re making excuses. They’re blaming the victim. They’re doubling down. They’re digging in their manly heels right now.

The good minister pulled back the curtain to expose the sickening philosophy of these individuals. They care not about women as human beings, but consider them to be mere disposable objects to be used for their own nefarious purposes:

The real reason they’re doing it, is because to them you aren’t worth defending; not your intelligence or your gifts or your worth. As a result, your consent isn’t really a concern either; you may have noticed that. It’s why, in their minds sexual misconduct almost never occurs, and when it does, it’s because you were dressed too provocatively or sending mixed signals, or because their motives were misinterpreted. They don’t believe you have the right to say or no or to be offended. If anything, they believe you should be flattered. This is the hubris of men who think God made you as an accessory.

In an act of contrition and humility Pavlovitz apologized for the behavior of despicable men who behave as cowardly dogs. He stopped short of apologizing on the behalf of the men, as if he were their spokesperson:

As a Christian and a pastor and a man, I’d liked to apologize to you for these men and what you endure from them, but I won’t apologize to you on their behalf because that would mean aligning myself with them and I will not do that. They don’t speak for me. They don’t speak for many of us. They certainly don’t speak for God.

Minister John Pavlovitz’s statement is worthy of a resounding round of applause. As a man of the cloth he truly embodies the values which he espouses, which is a rare and precious trait in a society full of millions of individuals who support Trump and believe that his word is the gospel. It is truly disheartening and frightening to know that while all citizens in the United States have the same rights, and all votes are equal, that so many would use those votes in a way which is detrimental to the lives of their fellow female citizens.

Someone yelled "gun" but no gun was found. The guy was arrested anyway. I can't believe all you clowns take this circus seriously. It is all a distraction from reality; a scripted reality show.

Final newspaper endorsement count: Clinton 57, Trump 2

Source: MSN/The Hill

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has received fewer endorsements from the nation's largest newspaper editorial boards than any major party presidential candidate in history.

Among the top 100 largest newspapers in America, just two -- the Las Vegas Review-Journal and the Florida Times Union in Jacksonville -- endorsed Trump. The Review-Journal is owned by Sheldon Adelson, the casino magnate who has spent millions trying to elect Trump.

"Donald Trump, despite all of his faults, is best suited to blow up the inbred corruption of the Washington-New York elites," the Times-Union wrote in a Sunday editorial.

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton has received endorsements from 57 newspaper editorial boards across the country, including papers such as the Dallas Morning News, the Arizona Republic and the San Diego Union-Tribune, conservative bastions that have almost always backed Republicans.

"Influential," is he? Certified as such by whom, exactly?

A fair question indeed.

Would the fact that he has 45,000+ "likes" in his FB page suggest to you that he has some influence?

Evidently, he has been in the news before and you may google for more data.

Toronto boxer Phil Lo Greco takes low blow over Donald Trump support

By Steve Buffery, Toronto Sun
First posted: Sunday, November 06, 2016 04:41 PM EST | Updated: Sunday, November 06, 2016 04:47 PM EST
Toronto fighter Phil Lo Greco has taken and delivered some heavy shots during his 30-fight professional boxing career.
But the ‘Italian Sensation’ took one on the chin outside the ring last week. A blow he is still having a hard time dealing with.
Following a routine workout, Lo Greco — who has fashioned an impressive 27-3 (15 KOs) pro record — called a friend who owns a physiotherapy clinic in the Toronto area and asked if he could get a massage from his regular therapist. Like many athletes, pro boxers get massages as part of their normal training regimen.
“It was towards the end of the day and I asked my buddy: ‘Can you give me an hour?’” said Lo Greco. “And he said: ‘She’s wrapping up with her last client, but she’ll get to you.’ So I was waiting, waiting and waiting, and finally I said: ‘Bro, where did she go?’ And he said: ‘She doesn’t want to massage you because she’s tired ... and because you support Donald Trump.’”
Talk about an unexpected blow to the mush. Lo Greco, a dual Canadian/Italian citizen who has a P-1 work visa that allows him to fight and live in the United States, had made his preference known on social media that he prefers Trump as the presidential candidate over Hillary Clinton, though he’s not a huge fan of either. Lo Greco said he leans towards Trump because of the New York businessman’s tough approach to illegal immigration. Lo Greco, the son of Italian immigrants who spends much of his time in Las Vegas, said he has seen how guys in his profession take advantage of the lax U.S. immigration system.
“I’m a foreign fighter. I worked my *** off to get a P-1 work visa,” he said. “But do you know how many fighters I know that have poured into the U.S., that don’t have that (status) and still fight and earn money? It’s not fair.”
Lo Greco said it isn’t right that he and his camp spent a lot of time and money to get the proper paperwork to live and fight in the U.S., and other fighters enter under the assumption that they’re heading to Vegas just to train, but then fight, get paid and leave.
“It costs a lot of money and you need good immigration lawyers to get this status,” said Lo Greco. “So the reason why I say I support Trump is that he’s right about these illegal (workers) coming into the U.S., and taking advantage of the system. Meanwhile, I have a working visa, I busted my *** getting it. I’ve earned my stripes to legally box in the United States and I have a soft spot for my country because it’s done me well. It’s opened up a lot of doors for me.”
Lo Greco also doesn’t believe that Trump is any less a person morally than Clinton (or her husband) and that the Republican candidate has been largely demonized by the media. That being said, Lo Greco was still floored that a massage therapist, whom he values professionally, refused him treatment because he posted that he supports Trump.
“I was like, are you kidding me?’” said Lo Greco. “So, I told her: ‘OK, but you’ve lost all my business because of that. I think the whole thing is absurd.”
Lo Greco tweeted that he was made to “feel like a criminal” because he expressed his support for Trump, adding that it’s wrong when people turn on each other because of their politics. The Toronto fighter said he feels bad for his buddy who is caught in the middle (and for that reason, doesn’t want to name his clinic). In any event, Lo Greco is waiting for his promoter, Al Haymon, to put together his next fight. After losing to American Joseph Elegele on June 12 in Elegele’s backyard, Lakeland, Fla. — a fight that saw Lo Greco floor the highly ranked Elegele in the second round and almost take him out — has decided to move up from the welterweight division (150 pounds) to super welterweight (154) because he was having too much trouble making weight. He feels the move will make him stronger.
“In the gym, I’m hurting guys terribly. People that spar with me know how strong I am,” said Lo Greco, who unfortunately has never fought as a pro in Toronto, his hometown. “When I lose that extra seven to eight pounds to make (150), I’m not the same guy. That 24-hour window I have to rehydrate is not enough for me. I don’t want to focus in the gym about weight loss anymore. I want to focus on my boxing.”
At 32, Lo Greco feels as strong as ever, though he acknowledges that his days as a prize fighter are closer to the end than the beginning. In that light, he’s starting to prepare for his post-fight career, which will include managing fighters and putting on fight cards in Niagara Falls, Ont.
“I want to make Niagara Falls the Las Vegas north for boxing,” he said. “And with all the hotels and casinos, there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be.”
