I do this every time I enter into a discussion with a hypocrite. Religious ones are the best, I think.
You seem to be looking for conversation where you have the 'advantage', or at least that is the preferred way. Say, for the sake of argument, you had a conversation with tw Christian , one was false and the other was preaching the same Gospel as the Apostles did. How would you tell the difference, and you should be able to as they act quite differently, especially in a pack, I mean group?

I'd tell the difference by what they were saying. If they are saying the same thing, then there is no difference.

Could their past history be used, just to be on the 'cautious side of things'. Preaching could be the same sermon, what happens after is how the words compare to the actions. Hindsight is often the point in time when it is too late to prevent a 'preventable disaster'. A false Christian consistantly says opne thing and then does another, often just the opposite is the way reality manifests itself, by intentional design.
The NT at it's more basic message is telling people not to chase after the material things in this world. (to such a way are they are willing to lie, murder, steal to get them) Material wealth using methods that result in many seeing benefits is not something the Bible frowns on. Job being the best single example.

I reject the term "false Christian". It is nothing more than a poor attempt at smearing those that disagree with you.

I like this Christ fellow. I don't like Christians very much. They aren't like Christ much at all.

I hope you guys can hold onto that current attitude until it pays dividends. Here's how it works false Christians like to do bad **** to other people but then claim they have that rights as having authority to use a sword against evil. They **** it up when they substitute their own definition of what that sword can be used for. Having that sword used against somebody (non-believer, usually an atheist but if could be another Christian is times are slow in the killing dept) actually makes them listed as getting 'a gift as compensation' for an 'out of control child'. Some even get to witness the truth of those words at the time for handing out giftes. Hopefully you are all in the right place on that day.

Lu.12:47
And that servant,
which knew his lord's will,
and prepared not himself,
neither did according to his will,
shall be beaten with many stripes.
Lu.12:48
But he that knew not,
and did commit things worthy of stripes,
shall be beaten with few stripes.
For unto whomsoever much is given,
of him shall be much required:
and to whom men have committed much,
of him they will ask the more.

There is no verse that says all Atheists (or any other religion) are worse people than false Christians, it's quite the opposite.

Say the return is similar to us entering a room when we are already aware that we won't like anything we find in there. Once through the door who would normally be the first target, the closest ones or it might also be some trying to hide on the far side of the room and the closest ones are just brushed aside for a moment or two. With Christ's return, the ones who claim to be Christians (call Jesus Lord) are 'examined' first. If nothing else the magnitude will not leave you wondering who is behind the events, if the magnitude is less than promised it isn't God at work. That isn't a really dangerous view to anybody, if anything it is a call to 'potential Christians' to read all the fine-print before signing on.

That's all fine and dandy if you believe it.

Apparently it doesn't matter, mankind is viewed as a single group by God, where one goes everybody goes. That's about as equal as it gets. There is that 'wait your turn' clause that doesn't please everybody.
