Most definitely, CC. Jim's death was a big blow to the hopes of many conservatives. A good man taken far too soon.

I can't think of a male candidate who isn't too flawed to win the hearts of Middle Canada. Rona could .. I think that Lisa could, too or someone from outside of the Harper government.

None of the candidates inspire my support - none of them has any presence. Kevin has a presence. Rona has too and if anyone in party decided to start a draft Rona campaign I'd immediately switch my support to Rona.

Depends on what part of middle Canada you live in. Some prefer Rona, others Home Depot. Then there's Canadian Tire, but they don't anything about monetary policy. I got a whole drawer full of their worthless currency. It's like the Wiemar Republic in there.

In other words, you're tired of losing and can't come up with a decent argument to refute what RCS has posted.

No, in other words I am tired of his repetitive unsupported posts. They contain little or no substance just like so many of yours.

Never came up with a decent argument to refute what I've posted either! :)

I seem to remember a certain whiny note you sent me. Apparently that plea for politeness did not apply to your posts.

We should have hung onto Harper- he was tops!

Well looks like I am doing a very good job of stirring up the neo-cons. I've certainly got you in an incoherent dither. But keep practicing - one of these days you might actually post something intelligent. In the meantime I am pretty much tired of attempting to engage in intelligent dialogue with a fool.

I don't want to insult you but your so called intelligence hasn't impressed me. But keep working on it - maybe some day someone will listen! :) :)

I just reread that note, whiny?.............I doubt it. I just calls things the way I sees 'em, if other disagree ............................too bad!

You mean Stephen Harper? He was electable, but not anymore. Well, except as an MP, but turns out he wasn't all that into serving the people and only lasted a few months.

Compared to what we have Stephen Harper was a Prince!

I heard O'Leary expounding at length on the radio this morning...............a brilliant man in his field (economics) but I have my doubts he'd survive long in politics. (The electorate wants to spend money, not save it)

Why don't you arseholes elect a nice intelligent capable woman in there? It's obviouse the males in your country are dummies.:).

We're not ALL dummies!

Unfortunately, the only nice intelligent capable woman worth voting for cannot run for the Conservative leadership as she is currently the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament. Her name is Rona Ambrose and she's a dandy, Ludlow.

Yep, always straight forward, always sensible. I'm not sure WHY she can't run, she's over 19 and Canadian.

Kevin O'Leary is not a Canadian Trump, CC - that is so disingenuous. You don't like Kevin and that is just fine - attack him on points not by calling him names - it demeans your arguments which are for the most part right on point.

I would much rather see Rona be allowed to run but as that is not going to happen, then Kevin is the one I will be supporting.

No, he's not but there's similarities.............opinionated might be a good start to the list, and adamant could be second.

because as interm leader of the conservative Party, she is not allowed to run under their presnt constitution. You have been told this already.

His language skill or which party he belongs to will hold no barring on my decision. The person whose ideas are aligned with my vision of Canada will be the one who gets my vote. I'm pretty sure he's capable like all others who have run, to learn basic French or in a few cases basic English. Private tutors can do wonders.

Compared to what we have Stephen Harper was a Prince!

Maybe that was the problem.

I heard O'Leary expounding at length on the radio this morning...............a brilliant man in his field (economics) but I have my doubts he'd survive long in politics. (The electorate wants to spend money, not save it)

Keven O'Leary knows **** all about economics. It's not his field. His field is being a celebrity and pretending to know things about economics.
