Are you still feeling the effects of last night festivities?Sheiss ... not the religious argument again!
Maybe you should reread the title of the thread and then try and follow the trend of it.Failed religion and the US ... what's one to do.
Capitalism is good ... though.
Are you still feeling the effects of last night festivities?
Truce
Wrong on two fronts Nuggy. One, I already greenied her post, thus, accepting and acquiescing. Two, I formulate and write my own opinions, more oft than not.Asking Bear (the cut and paste giant), for a truce is like asking the UN to do something.
Ain't gonna happen.
I and it did.Hope the New Year came in well.
Hence why when I was relegated to it, I boycotted the net, lol.I really wish I had unlimited high speed to watch all the videos Bear.
Agreed. All I can Blindly add here is I would believe the U.N. will deffinately more useless as it is now.
Far to many. How many countries that are not indebt?
I think they already are.Action will slowly be limited by that. IMO these mega corporations that make more money than countries yearly budgets will become the SuperPowers of tomorrow.
It already is.They already have expanded into other countries. When they start holding half of the worlds wealth the U.N. will be a thing of the past.
In my opinion, I believe so.Bear, so I am not paranoididly (is that a word?) predicting anything here , this is the direction it has already taken?
Chalk it up to an "El Barto-ism, lol. Why not, I've created Bear-isms, lol.paranoididly (is that a word?)
An institution like the United Nations is vital to the human race. All over the world in every culture at every time the meeting of councils of elders has produced the soundest of determinations. There is no benevolent substitute. So while our would be good CDNbear sees the obvious confusion and distance from the original benign mandate of the UN he wants to pull down the stone circles of the learned elders and he has not once realized that he's cutting off his own voice, permanently ensuring his own silence and his own slavery.
And since they are at the heart of the UN, I guess that makes my points valid. There is nothing wrong with the institution of the UN there is everything wrong with the persons who stand for the member states.
And since the UN gives said persons a voice and medium to enact their crimes, the UN is as culpable as said persons. Those persons are indicative of the worst that the human species has to offer and those persons are responsible in whole for the awful state of the nations of this planet. Without a global council of the wise there will be no hope of escaping totalitarian rule by blood money. This is in fact the condition that citizen Bear innocently advocates.
Actually beave, that's exactly what I find wrong about the UN and it's Ambassadors. The only difference is, I'm not made blind and bias by a political ideology. Such as yourself. Here's the type he would put in every council seat all through the lands. US UN Ambassador takes pride in "spinning the truth"
