In related news - I several times mentioned a kid in my neighbourhood who bought an electric powered motorcycle last spring!
And now I know what happened with it!
The kid spent ONE SEASON ON THE ELECTRIC TOY!
Until he got enough money to get himself a FULL SIZED GAS POWERED PICKUP GMC TRUCK!
It is a club cab and big enough to carry him and some gear and a coup;e of his pals!
And has a MUCH LONGER range and easier refueling then his electric TOY!
Oh yes - the truck costs more - and LASTS LONGER than the electric TOY!
That kid has made HIS choice - ignored the dreams of hemerHOID!
The electric motorcycle TOY is now gathering dust in his fathers garage!
THAT IS THE REALITY of ALL electric TOYS!
People use them till they can GET SOMETHING BETTER!
And my advice to the kid is this: SELL THE ELECTRIC TOY QUICKLY!
BEFORE the battery decays too badly!
