Catholicism has evolved on the most part in the Western world along with education.

I agree and would add the force of secular law that brought Christianity to heel.

Note how American Christians who would not bake wedding cakes for gays were forced to follow secular law and not discriminate without a just cause.

Isn't Jesus a popular name in Central and South America?

And elsewhere. Jeshua, Joshua, Jesus pronounced "hay-SOOS" are all the same name.

And many non-Muslim men (and women) are named for other important figures in their religions. Just ask my friends Samuel, Ezra, Mary, John, Peter, Ruth, and Theresa. Just like many Muslims are also named for important religious figures in Islam.

Boy howdy, FP's even farther off the beam than usual with this one. Leastways that's what my friends Joshua, Jesus, Christian, and Christopher say.

Even if it were true that Christians don't name their children after Jesus, it's not because of some association with genocide.

Even if it were true Christians don't name their children after Jesus, that doesn't mean French Patriot isn't ignorant as a fence post and dumber'n a doorknob.

If we look beyond English spelling, there are even Muslims names 'Isa (the Arabic version of Jesus).

But that is now infringing on rights and freedoms, for there is a right to be gay, there also should be a right to serve whomever in one's business. Would anything been said if the baker refused to serve a crackhead I think not.

Way back in the day, when my friends Cindy and Brian Christ (rhymes with "twist") got married, I made them promise to name their eldest son Jesus (pronounced "hay-SOOS"). He would have the best life ever, pissing off Christians by the millions!

"What the hell is this? Yer name is Jesus Christ?"

"No, it's Haysoos Krist."

"Waaaal, all I know is there's somethin' here ain't raht!"

There was a guy in NYC, I think it was, his first name was 'God', and he was having trouble getting a credit card because the credit agencies refused to accept his name, or something like that.

Take your pills.
Birth control? Don't sweat it, I knew I was defective as early as 17.

Except the kid. If a parent likes the name so much why not they be the ones to do a name change and they can deal with the 'blowback' and a child doesn't have to suffer for a parent's mistake.

I think it is as all Christians run from that discussion on moral grounds.

What evil do you think keeps Christians from using Jesus the way Muslims use Mohammad if not genocide.

Or if not for that evil, why are Christians not using the name Jesus?

And teh stoopid remains. We've just demonstrated that the use of "Jesus" and "Christ" is common in the Christian names (that's a pun) of Christian men, and here comes dumbass again, simply repeating his false claim that it doesn't happen.
