no - OECD comparisons are the norm if one intends to compare like/developed countries. Of course, again, you would prefer the U.S. gun culture be compared to 3rd-world, war torn and/or shyte-house countries. I can see your thinking here! :mrgreen:

per the graph source: an acknowledgement that Mexico was not included was made and based upon the fact Mexico, "has about triple the U.S. rate due in large part to the ongoing drug war". there's a ton of sources that speak to "Chief Tecumseh"... try a googly, hey! If those sources are incorrect, you've got a lot of work ahead of you to correct them. Good luck! After your raised concern I even looked for one to align with your suggestion... couldn't find one... also couldn't find anything to suggest labeling Chief Tecumseh a chief was a slight/was incorrect... was "racist". I guess my googly powers were off. Go figure, hey!

All these dumb stats that are skewed to suit the politics of those who pay for them and are useless. This morning the first two local stories were one teenager shooting another in the head while jazzing to music. Didn't know the gun was loaded and is now facing man-slaughter charges. The next was two robberies in two days by a gun toting nutball.. Killed one shopkeeper.

I do wonder what, those who are constantly at each other's throats in here, would do face to face, while carrying concealed weapons??

Think back to the Oka crisis.....The women giving the orders to the warriors there were certainly leaders but they did not have the title of "Chief".
