noticed, whilst looking over yur posts earlier, was that, whilst they're all bullshit, some are much more cleverly worded bullshit than others. Almost like they were written by different people, if you get my drift. How many personalities are you packin

Hmmm, that brings up more psychological-type questions. Anybody here ever see the movie Sybil?

Oh, excuse me again, for being so ugly. How dumb do you have to be to judge a person's looks by their avatar?

Bull Dog

I said:
The only thing I can really recall, apart from the ugly dog in your avatar ... "

 Sorry bulldog, but - as I clearly stated - I remembered you had what I consider to be an ugly dog in your avatar. I implied nothing about your looks - perhaps you inferred what you did because that's the way your mind operates. You should ask an expert in cognition how that might work.

As for your small-minded bigotry - why don't you remind us all again about your views on, say, muslims, for instance. In fact, don't; no-one wants to hear that sort of hate-filled drivel anyway.

***********************************************************************************
Not everyone thinks I am a small minded bigot. I have been a moderator for ten years. I have my own non-political group.

Hate-filled drivel? Faiza in Baghdad sends you this message:

"Thanks for the good American people and other who are movng to give help for Iraqis."

You all seem to hate me so much just because I want to be fair minded and see both sides of the story. You hate me because I'm very different from all of you - and you sense it, but you don't know what it is. You are all absolutely right about that one thing.

typical "american-gov't " way. Create a crisis where there is none. Then they give themselves an excuse to go in to "solve" the crisis /problem.- (that they created in the first place.) Sick! (all the while preaching that they are "preventing " more problems....while the reality is the opposite. Go figure.

Something very bizarre/pathological about this "american" value system of seek to destroy, then try to conquer while "rebuilding" , meanwhile lining the pockets of the already wealthy to an obscene level.

It was bad enough when Israel was developing its nukes with the help of France and the tacid acceptence of the U.S. Worse when the U.S. looked the other way while the Pakistani military junta was cobbling their nukes together, even as the U.S. poured half a billion dollars a year through Pakistan. Now the U.S. is going to upgrade India's nuke capabilities for longer range. It must be very clear to Iran that the only choice is the nuclear option of 'mutual assured destruction'. America had hopes to pick and choose who is going to have 'deterent' weapons. Welcome back to 'cold war' politics. Good for the 'Industrial/military complex' Ike warned of. Old men plan the wars for young men to die in. Wow, two dangalling participles in a row.

Iran and NK are working on getting nukes because of all the threats the US has made to them.

Why does the US think that only they and their buddies can have Nukes?

If the world decided to ever get rid of Nukes, would America "really" get rid of them or just hide them?

btw- Well I see the judges in Iran are to start carrying weapons.

Iran president bans Western music

A teaser:

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has banned Western and "indecent" music from state-run TV and radio stations.

The ban follows a ruling in October by the Supreme Cultural Revolutionary Council, which he heads, to ban Western songs from the airwaves.

"Blocking indecent and Western music from the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting is required," a statement from the council said.

Songs by artists such as Eric Clapton and George Michael will be affected.

'Lack of knowledge'

Songs such as Clapton's Rush, Michael's Careless Whisper and The Eagles' Hotel California are often used as background music on Iranian TV programmes.

Songs by American easy-listening artist Kenny G are also often featured. [/teaser]

Well that is weird.

From a Charles Krauthammer Op-Ed piece in the National Post:

".....The President of a country about to go nuclear is a confirmed believer in the coming apocalypse. Like Judaism and Christianity, Shiite Islam has its own version of the messianic return....the reappearance of the Twelfth Imam. the more devout believers pray at the Jamkaran Mosque that houses a well from which, some believe, he will emerge"

(ASIDE - I thought heavenly visitations came from the other direction... 8O )

"Iranian journalist......reported Ahmadinejad as saying.....that the Imam will appear within two years.......(Ahmadinejad)..........gave US$17 million of government funds to the shrine...............he said publically that the main mission of the Islamic Revolution is to pave the way for the reappearance of the twelfth Amam...........So a holocaust-denying, virulently anti-Semitic, aspiring genocidist, on the verge of acquiring weapons of the apocalypse, believes the end is....(near)......This kind of man would have, to put it gently, less inhibition about starting Armageddon than a normal person."

".....After his speech to the UN, Ahmadinjad was caught on videotape telling a cleric that during his speech an aura, a halo, appeared aroud his head right on the podium of the General Assembly. "I felt the atmosphere suddenly change. And for those 27 or 28 minutes, the leaders of the world did not blink.....it seemed as if a hand was holding them there, and it opened their eyes to recieve the message from the Islamic Republic".....Negotiations to deny this certifable lunatic genocidal weapons have been going nowhere....."

Warm up them ground attack fighters, Israel.

Please.
