Well Machjo...

As was pointed out in another thread on a similar topic, one must account for war, and defense.

When you start to use reason, logic, critical thought and deductive reasoning, to view the whole of the issue. You will begin to grasp the reasons why things happen, and borders change.

Actually why? CDNBear
Because there are more then one set of players in this epic drama.

Israel isn't exactly the neighbour from heaven. Then you have several groups that were born from an antiquated Nazi ideology, running amok, with and without the complete support of the present Gov't of Gaza, Palestine, Lebanon, and so on.

There are absolutely no innocents involved in this mess, save for the children being used as human shields, canon fodder and propaganda.

Actually, I'd read that prior to Zionism appearing in Palestine, Palestinian Jews were quite welcomed by their Palestinian hosts. It's only when Zionism reared its ugly head that the violence really started. It's one thing to welcome guests into your home. It's quite another for the guests to then claim your home as their own and kick you out.

Now don't get me wrong here. What's done is done that the Palestinian lands appropriated to form the new state of Israeli as recognized by international law ought to remain Israeli. That said, Israel ought to give back appropriated lands that do not have the sanction of the international community and just be thankful for the lands that have been given them, and try to understand the hard feelings that might exist among Palestinians who may feel their ancestors had made a grave mistake in welcoming such guests in the first place.

Which is why most of it was bought up legally. That of course created Jewish areas. This of course was unacceptable to the local bigots. Of which were not exclusively Palestinian, nor affected by the influx of Jewish migration.

Now don't get me wrong here.
It's not ahrd to take your post the wrong way, you use some pretty specific wording and have a pretty onesided view.

Any lands annexed, outside of war reparations, have been abandoned by the Israeli's already.

Do I detect just a whiff of sarcasm????

ROTFLMAO.
It's more of a flooding of the olfactory sense. A couple months ago (maybe more) Ron rolled some 63 or so threads about Palestine into one and I recently gave him the links to 8 or 10 Israel threads which he rolled into one..

ISRAEL'S SENSE OF HUMOUR AT THE UN SPEECH

An ingenious example of speech and politics occurred recently in the United Nations Assembly which made the world community smile.

A representative from Israel began: 'Before beginning my talk I want to tell you something about Moses.

When he struck the rock and it brought forth water, he thought, 'What a good opportunity to have a bath!'

He removed his clothes, put them aside on the rock and entered the water.

When he got out and wanted to dress, his clothes had vanished. A Palestinian had stolen them.'

The Palestinian representative jumped up furiously and shouted, 'What are you talking about? The Palestinians weren't there then.'

The Israeli representative smiled and said, 'And now that we have made that clear, I will begin my speech.

A man was taken to court for stealing an item from a store. The man said to the judge, "Your Honor, I'm a Christian. I've become a new man. I am "Born Again!" However, I still have my old nature. It was not my new nature that did wrong. It was my old nature."
The judge responded, "Since it was the old nature that broke the law, we'll sentence him to 60 days in jail. And since the new nature was an accomplice in the theft, we'll give him 30 days, too. I therefore sentence you both to 90 days in jail."

First of all, the 1946 picture is British territory, not "Palestinian".

Which explains the 1930's uproar of Arabs in Palestine due to Jewish immigration?

Obviously, the point at which it should cease is when the Palestinians have no land, and Israel has it all.
I actually think Israel should pull back to the lines that were drawn at the end of the of the War of Independence.
