I do, I live in North Vancouver. I guess our Walmart is just old and all. The Walmart over the bridge has everything, but still only open 24hrs during Christmas I think.

We don't have Sobey's in NV, downtown has one. I have no idea if its 24hrs...

I agree with you, upper management should only get bonus's if the company is actually making profits from its products, not that income is up and productivity and sales are down..

Charity is the biggest helper to the poor, I know that first hand. It would be great if we could have more social programs for the poor than they have already, but first they cost money when every other sector is screaming for cash like education and healthcare, and second some of the social programs like insite aren't shining example of government funded social programs imo.

There is a American dream out there, but what some do not understand that it must be earned. You are not entitled to anything except basic rights that we all receive. Kids today come right out of college expecting to make not a livable wage, but a very high wage in the field they got their degrees in. Some, very few are lucky and get a job (+$45,000 for example) most however start out at $25,000 or so. What I am saying is that you get out of life what you put into it, U.S. or Canada doesn't make much difference.
