Yeah, it’s “almost” the same, being the things that they’re bragging about are the same (flyover rights, ability to set up military bases, etc…), but the difference is that if the people of Greenland declare independence from Denmark, they’re still saddled with America deciding who they can can’t trade with, etc…so in that respect, it’s more like the Venezuela agreement, but with this current “deal” Trump stops threatening to potentially take them over militarily.

Trump is smart. He negotiates from a negative & eventually gets what he wants. It sounded so rash & now everything makes sense. Good on him for getting a good deal!!

Good on them, I guess ????? The fact that Trump generally gets to where he wants to go is not news. At least, unlike the mafia, he doesn't condemn people to die because they don't like him. He simply calls them out & he's entitled to do that, as we all are!

Trump since he was a toddler, I’m assuming he “generally got to where he wanted to go,” and that’s the reason he doesn’t understand the word no now, regardless of who says it to him, or when, or about what, which might explain several of the rape accusations, but let’s just leave that alone.

As far as not condemning anyone to die because they don’t like him, I’m assuming you don’t mean like the population of Cuba because he doesn’t like their leadership and they don’t like him, or the president (the actual one that’s sitting somewhere in New York waiting for his trial) of Venezuela that spoke back against Trump, or the 200 or so people that were on boats and were blown up in the ocean and accused of being drug dealers without a judge or a trial? Those kind of not condemning people to die sort of thing if you mean ‘literally’ to die, and ‘not figuratively’ to die.

Remember, when some of the politicians or retired military in the US, stated that when the current administration is blowing up people in the ocean that they said were drug dealers without a judge or a trial, and that those are illegal orders and they shouldn’t be followed….Do you remember Trump‘s reaction?

In the end, he couldn’t do it, but he stated, that advising current US military soldiers to not follow illegal orders was "seditious behaviour, punishable by death" and where do you think he was going with that? This coming from the same guy who got five deferments to avoid having to fight for his nation during the Vietnam war (four for education and then once he was out of school, he then developed bone spurs, etc…).

The remarks drew sharp, bipartisan condemnation from lawmakers who called it a dangerous threat against elected officials. Trump later stated in an interview that he was not “actually” threatening the lawmakers with death when not even the Republicans backed him on that one.

People don’t have to actually not like Trump, or even have an opinion about him, if their deaths are politically expedient like that couple hundred on boats that have been literally blown up.
