Hes using the Israel hegemonic model Version 6.66. The hooved god gave Cuba, Greenland, Venezuela and Botswana to the illiterate American't tribe of S.E. Wyoming.

Following a media photo op of the aid before takeoff in Miami, stage management of the delivery continued outside Havana where Mike Hammer, the chief of mission of the US Embassy in Cuba, visited some of the first families to receive the aid; he then posted his interactions on social media. The aid kits were branded with American flag stickers and the words, in Spanish, “Donation from the people of the United States of America to the citizens of Cuba.”

Everything about this modest gesture of US goodwill seems designed to win the hearts and minds of the Cuban people—and deflect attention from American policies contributing to the hunger and misery that the food boxes are meant to alleviate. The aid shipment happened to arrive the day after the State Department issued a 100-page report accusing Cuba of leading “a revolution against Western civilization itself,” to justify America’s escalating war of economic aggression and attrition.

For the fraction of the Cuban population lucky enough to receive an aid kit, the rice, beans, cooking oil, sugar, toothpaste, soap, and other items will barely last 10 days. Many will lack running water to use the soap because electrical blackouts affect the water system, and they will cook the rice and beans with wood or charcoal in the dark, as intensifying sanctions imposed by the Trump administration impede access to fuel, electricity, food, and cash on the island.
1789068925331.jpeg
The Cuban government has accepted the assistance, but officials there have pointed out the hypocrisy of the US economic blockade that has created the need for humanitarian aid.
In a message on X, President Miguel Díaz-Canel declared that the US “will encounter neither obstacles nor ingratitude from Cuba, however inconsistent and paradoxical the offer may seem to a people whom the United States government itself punishes collectively in a systematic and ruthless manner.” “One hundred million dollars would certainly help,” Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez noted in June, “although we must acknowledge that it only amounts to five days of the [annual cost of the American] blockade” against Cuba.

To circumvent the Cuban authorities, the State Department assigned $60 million of the aid to Catholic Relief Services to distribute through its church-led Cuban counterpart, Cáritas Cuba. The money will provide kits for nearly 200,000 families, or more than 500,000 people, according to the group. Cuba’s population is more than 9 million.

By using sanctions and new rules to promote US-approved channels of aid and commerce, the Trump administration appears to be attempting to increase Cuba’s dependence on the US government as a way of undermining the Cuban government, says Lee Schlenker, a research associate with the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft.

“It’s this engineered process of making the [Cuban] state sort of irrelevant in dealing with the few resources that are coming in from the US, at the same time as we’re cutting off Cuba’s independent trade and foreign relations with other countries,” he says. The food boxes “are a Band-Aid,” Schlenker adds, but they’re “an important PR and communications tool that can be wielded against the government to show how ‘incompetent’ it is and that it’s the one standing in the way, when we know it has its hands tied” by the US.

Holy Venezuela Batman!! In a Truth Social post, the US president wrote that no US enemies would be able to make sensitive investments on the island without the approval of the United States and that the agreement had no expiry date. I wonder if Denmark or Greenland are aware of this yet?

"At my direction, we worked with representatives of Denmark and Greenland to guarantee that the United States will FOREVER have the complete ability to do what is necessary in Greenland in order to secure and defend the security of Greenland, and the United States of America," Trump wrote.
Trump said, without elaborating, that the US would soon be rolling out a large military presence on the island, which already hosts one Space Force base in its remote northwest. "This is a dream come true for the United States of America," Trump ‌wrote.

Much was unclear as of Friday night, including whether any new US bases would be constructed as a result of the agreement. Trump's Truth Social posts about negotiations or agreements often lack coherence or logic or context or specifics. The US already has nearly total overflight and basing rights in Greenland due to a 1951 treaty.

It was also unclear how the agreement would be received in Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark. The island's residents aspire to independence and have bristled at US attempts to assert hegemony. In a separate statement, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the deal "permanently and completely" addressed Washington's national security concerns with respect to the island?

"Greenland will forever be part of the strategic defense area of North America and exclude any adversary from it and the surrounding area," Rubio wrote. Who decides who’s an adversary or not? This sort of sounds like the trade deal the Trump administration wanted with Canada.

A State Department official, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss specific terms, said the deal prohibits non-NATO countries from building a base in Greenland, and will allow only the US and its allies to make unspecified "sensitive investments." The official said the agreement grants the US permanent access, basing and overflight rights, and would continue to apply even if Greenland becomes independent?

President Donald Trump has explicitly threatened and contemplated withdrawing the United States from NATO during his second term, so what would that mean in the context of this “deal” if that was to happen? Legally, Trump cannot easily formally exit the alliance on his own. An amendment passed by Congress in the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) explicitly bars any president from terminating U.S. membership in NATO without a two-thirds Senate supermajority or an act of Congress, but just because he can’t legally do it doesn’t mean he would do it, right?

What does the Kingdom of Denmark gain with this “deal” with Trump? Hopefully the obvious answer is the preservation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity over Greenland, effectively ending threats of a U.S. takeover…& The less obvious answer would be the preservation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity over Greenland, effectively ending threats of a U.S. takeover? At least at this point?

In the midst of an expanding trade war, the Trump regime doubtless is asking itself how to further tariff and coercivestrong-arm Canada so that we finally capitulate and accept the idea of becoming a 51st state. But U.S. President Donald Trump and his cabinet colleagues are asking themselves the wrong question.

They should be asking why it is that Canada, a country they view as nothing more than “little yippee dog” — Commerce Secretary Scott Bessent’s words — would so vehemently oppose becoming part of the wealthiest, and most powerful country on Earth.
In the past MAGA Republicans have gone so far as to suggest that Canada lacks gratitude for being invited into the fold. After all, residents of Puerto Rico, a self-governing Caribbean archipelago designated by the courts as an unincorporated territory — belonging to the U.S. but not on a direct path to statehood — has for years been yearning to become the 51st state.
While Trump's trade war clearly is a lose-lose for all involved, America could truly benefit, and gain important new insights by determining why the countries Trump is threatening insulting intimidating browbeating belittling courting (?) are all running in an opposite direction. Greenland, Iceland and almost certainly, Mexico appear to want no part of being American as they watch (or experience) the Trump administration use economic pressure, tariffs, and military force to make regional governments cooperate.
1790028545495.jpegCanada, Mexico, Greenland, and Iceland do not want to become subservient states to the United States because they are sovereign nations or territories that fiercely value their own independence, legal systems, and cultural identities. Canada and Mexico are fully independent countries with their own rich histories, constitutions, and governments. Becoming subservient to the U.S. would mean giving up their self-rule and national sovereignty.
(Americans probably would be surprised to learn their life expectancy is only 77 years compared to Canada’s, 82. Not only do Canadians live longer but 2023 numbers show this country has lower maternal and child mortality rates…across what Trump has decided is an artificial and imaginary border between Canada and America? Something weird must be happening here?🤔 The homicide rate per 100,000 people in the U.S. is 4.1 — more than double Canada's rate of 1.9, but this is probably just a coincidence)

Seems that he has sealed some kind of deal. What did Trump get that he didn’t already have from the treaty from 1951, aside from the claim that he has some kind of win 6 weeks before the midterms?
Well he got Denmark and Greenland to sign on the dotted line .

And? And he gained what for America that they didn’t already have the 1951 treaty?

Coercing Denmark (a NATO ally) and Greenland (population 40,000?) into signing something so that they’re not gonna be constantly threatened to be annexed, etc…isn’t a ‘win’, is it? It’s not exactly a great show of statesmanship or the “art of the deal” unless you are Tony Soprano.

For much of 2025 and 2026, President Trump aggressively renewed his long-standing ambition to "take" or annex Greenland, declaring U.S. ownership an absolute necessity for American national security and control over the Arctic. To pressure Denmark (a NATO ally) and the semi-autonomous territory of Greenland, the Trump administration used explicit, coercive threats:
    • Military Threats: Trump repeatedly suggested the U.S. could seize the territory by force to prevent geopolitical rivals from doing so.
    • Economic Retaliation: He threatened crippling tariffs against Denmark and other European allies if they resisted.
    • NATO Sabotage: Trump explicitly floated the idea of pulling the U.S. out of NATO over the dispute.
While European leaders condemned the rhetoric as a dangerous escalation that undermined transatlantic relations, Denmark and Greenland ultimately chose to defuse the standoff through diplomatic negotiations. They utilized a quiet, months-long strategy to offer Trump a "win" before the U.S. Midterm elections on security without giving up their territory.🙄

(In 1917, the United States bought the Danish West Indies (now the U.S. Virgin Islands) for $25 million in gold, and in exchange, the U.S. agreed to recognize and not object to Danish political and economic control over the whole of Greenland. The U.S. stated it would "not object to the Danish Government extending their political and economic interests to the whole of Greenland". This deal removed U.S. objections to Danish rule. It allowed Denmark to claim full sovereignty over all of Greenland without American interference)

Missed opportunities.

I think they should have just called The Lame duck's Bluff.

Is it in any way Europe's advantage to see Trump win the midterms?
I should think they'd want him an even Lamer duck posthaste, since this entire energy crisis is totally on him and the beebs.

Trump needs to be out of NATO anyway so that he can feel free to defend Israel from Turkey, and if he acquires Greenland by force then he is automatically at war with NATO. How weird would that be? Ukraine wants to join NATO and it would then have to be at war with both the US and Russia. Stranger bedfellows...

Trump didn’t ever need anything from Greenland that they (America) didn’t already have beyond a rape-situation like Venezuela on resources which nobody would ‘voluntarily’ agree to. Everything else they pretty much already had. After threatening to conquer Greenland, the Danes appeared to placate Trump with a deal, albeit one that seemed similar to the status quo.

They could before. Since 1951. They had three bases they closed two of them down because they didn’t think they needed them. Ever heard of their space force? Guess where that was located before this week.
Well what’s the problem ? All this bluster means and meant nothing so all your prose this last year or so was for naught . Bad orange man .
