The Mid-Atlantic Ridge, for instance, is a slow spreading center. It spreads 2-5 centimeters (.8-2 inches) every year and forms an ocean trench about the size of the Grand Canyon. The East Pacific Rise, on the other hand, is a fast spreading center. It spreads about 6-16 centimeters (3-6 inches) every year. There is not an ocean trench at the East Pacific Rise, because the seafloor spreading is too rapid for one to develop!

The variations (3.8"-8" ) would be able to created this graph and give the rate that it fluctuates.

That rapid rise is from the ice acting as a blanket so the magma heats up and violently lets loose, such as making a new mountain range like the Rockies

It's not up to me to prove you're wrong, I'm casting doubt on your claims, which is the default position in science. The burden of proof is on you, and your evidence and arguments have to meet the standards of science if you expect your claims to be accepted as having some truth content.

In complement to my post #39:

E.g. when I said there is water, there is life on Mars and the planets beyond it .. you denied and insisted: there is no water, no life!

While you should have said: It may be there is such water and life, but it has not been proved yet.

And here you would have been correct and none might object to you.

But in fact you wanted to reject my words derived from the Quran interpreter, and here you have no right to your claim in this way by claiming the science, because the science cannot say: there is no water but only frozen carbon compound!! neither is there life on Mars, but it says: this has not yet been discovered.

A YouTube video produced by a cartoonist, which is one of the things you or one of your fellow travellers once linked to in support of this claim, isn't it, and neither is the map, it's not enough by itself to make the case. At the very least, you need to provide a plausible mechanism, and explanations of how it has (or has not) affected the mass of the earth and the gravitational acceleration vector at the surface.
His animation was based on a series I already mentioned.

What the hell is this based on??

Even earlier models have the earth the same size and the water in place even back 4B years when the earth was supposedly a ball of molten rock.

How much are these people getting paid and is it to be a straight up scientist or an accomplished liar (in training apparently)

http://scienceline.ucsb.edu/getkey.php?key=2678
Do the planets grow in size?

Answer 1:NO, not really. Once a planet has formed then its mass is pretty constant.
(doesn't grow once it is fully formed, . . . by growing.))

Answer 2:They do!But very, very slowly: our solar system is full of material left over from its formation (mainly, asteroids and comets).. . . . but the rate of growth of the size of the planets from these contributions is negligible.
(except that is how all of them formed including the sun)

Answer 3:During the birth of our solar system, planets grew in size for many millions of years as asteroids, comets, and dust collided to form the planets. . . . .
The planets reached their modern masses quite a long time ago (sometime around 4.5 billion years ago). . . . .these additions and subtractions of material have not led to a significant change in planet size.. . .
the planets are expected to shrink as they cool off in the vacuum of space. Again, this is a very slow process (taking billions of years), and the magnitude of change is probably difficult to detect.

(There is no way to determine that without speculation entering the picture. They even admit that in the last line. He covers the shrinking without saying what would happen to the crust and he doesn’t even mention heating up even with many volcanoes going off each year. If that is the brightest we have we really are fuking doomed.)

Answer 4:
Generally speaking, no - except during planet formation . . . .
(That would make it a ‘yes’ then as there is no time when that process is finished, the rate is the only thing that changes.)

I'm sorry but, I will take Dexter's analysis over the rambling of a fool such as yourself
Lot's of room for fools in the collective. He didn't give one, he gave an opinion say he was right and then no link to show he wasn't blowing hot air out of his ass. You know, like you do as that is your only move. It makes you look stupid which is better than is you actually tried to promote some concept. The most common trait shown by all of you is you can't even answer a simple question that a 3 year old could answer instantly and you then claim to be part of the most advanced people on the planet.

Sack of fuking liars is what it turns out to be, lol. Talk about a comedy show, the 'hosts' are the ones being laughed off the stage because of the fairy tales they promote.

BTW Dex is a Parrot, he hasn't posted a single original thought since I've been here. None of you fukers in the collective have. Lemmings have more free will.
People who can start and run the machine call them 'dozers', sometimes 'Cat skinner' but never, never bulldozer operator. Think how many improvement will be made when you get the perfected version of 'you'. You don't even quality for 'last one gathered' that is how much your 'bad boy' act sucks.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bulldoze
1 : to coerce or restrain by threats : bully

2 : to move, clear, gouge out, or level off by pushing with or as if with a bulldozer

3 : to force insensitively or ruthlessly

I don't have a theory about you to test, just some observations that seem to fit a pattern I've seen in others in the real world, but I'm not interested in turning it into a theory.

I was absent for a long time because there was a handful of posters dominating every discussion that interested me who were incapable of sustaining a civilized conversation. I got fed up with all the insults and abuse, especially after they permanently drove away one of my favourite posters and I learned via email what had really happened behind the scenes. I also have other interests than CC, and tend not to be very active here until bad weather keeps me indoors a lot.
How is CNDBear? In the end even he was facing facts over the hype. He and I could have had long chats about him getting back to the bush and his son would still have wi-fi as that is what fathers do for their kids. Rigs all have their own tower, leave it behind when you aren't there. No telling where the topic of a rehab on a Reserve would have gone. Two posts would be 2x as long as any topic has gone when you are part of it

With you, you even have to lie about where you live, why would you have anything to say that an honest person would be interested in hearing as it just has to be checked out and the collective has a really shitty record.

The Collective that you are a leader of was deemed to be the racist ones against the many people that left, Muslims most of all but belief that God is literal is just about as bad around here. You try and push that you were a victim rather than one of the biggest racists on the board, subtle makes it worse rather than less, you are now aware of that fact.
Back when I first met you there was you throwing out a post and that was the end of the topic. Past that point you would bring up the same lame shit you do today, (posters are not worthy of getting any of your valuable time) only you don't have any minions will to put in a vocal back-up up except for Petey and the local DipShit troll so pretty much on your own. Who knows who they really are as 'your kind' would not have an issue opening multiple accounts. Still doing nothing but hiding'.
You like to throw out snide comments that are supposed to be hard to challenge, you disappear when that doesn't work. Let's put some facts on the table. The only one having trouble expressing themselves around here is you, just another lonely troll now the collective is showing cracks due to the history of the ones they worship. You almost had worship till I stumbled in and took the Bible away from you and when the expanding earth topic came up that would show everybody what a phony are. My only regret is being so polite in my first visit here.
If all you could do is dodge questions and spread bad science what makes you think you were missed during you absence? Today you have taken the form of a troll and nothing else, I doubt that will work out being your new claim to fame around here.
You are free to test out both versions, one will be a lot more comfortable than the other. Trust me when I say this will not go down the same as my first introduction here. How can be in charge when I say 'Bring it on' and your best reply is to abandon the thread and claim it was the insult that was the cause rather than the questions on the table that you would not address in any meaningful way. Why would you not expect to be treated like a common troll when that is what you are acting like.

Dex would have been hounded out of here before I showed up if he wasn't a full on Jewish only supporter so lets add that in as a lie and the RCC might be his wife's religion but it probably has more to do with being an non-practicing Catholic that would allow him to duck any Jewish convention. A lying troll is a lying troll, that is their only claim to fame and it doesn't matter where theit education came from, if it is wrong, it is wrong, everyplace except the collective.

I can only imagine the racist pig-sty this place was before I stumbled in. Was it as close to Nirvana as it is possible to get while on earth? It must be hell on earth now then. Good, you ain't seen nothing yet, pal.

If the global version of the collective is a bigger version of this collective it just means the lies are bigger rather than there are more as the collective is wall to wall liars.
Do far science is being shown to be as big rather than being on the straight an narrow. Considering how many Jews are at the highest levels they are really very stupid at heart or killing people rather than helping them is their one and only mission. When global warming flips to global cooling the old scientists should be fired.

Survey finds 97% of climate science papers agree warming is man-made
Overwhelming majority of peer-reviewed papers taking a position on global warming say humans are causing it
The results
Based on our abstract ratings, we found that just over 4,000 papers took a position on the cause of global warming, 97.1% of which endorsed human-caused global warming. In the scientist self-ratings, nearly 1,400 papers were rated as taking a position, 97.2% of which endorsed human-caused global warming. Many papers captured in our literature search simply investigated an issue related to climate change without taking a position on its cause.
Our survey found that the consensus has grown slowly over time, and reached about 98% as of 2011. Our results are also consistent with several previous surveys finding a 97% consensus amongst climate experts on the human cause of global warming.

The list is 2 pages long, are you claiming not one Jewish Scientist pushed global warming after they knew the theory was bogus?? They pull the strings, Gentile Scientist do not write new papers that are accepted. When a new topic starts off with 95% agreement there has been no discussion, they are agreeing with the conclusion without any 'science being involved' unless the study is to show if a professional would lie to save their well paying career?

Obviously that is a 'Yes.'
https://www.jpost.com/Jewish-World/Jewish-Features/Worlds-50-most-influential-Jews-176071
Considering their small numbers, Jews have fared disproportionately well in lists of the world’s most powerful and richest people, as well as in Nobel Prizes.

The world Jewish population is estimated at being 02. percent of the total populace – some 13.5 million, with just over 5.7 million in Israel, 5.6 million in the US, half a million in Russia and France, 280,000 in the UK and 200,000 in Germany.

Yet in Vanity Fair’s latest list of the 100 most powerful people in the world, 51 are Jews. Ten of the 50 people on this year’s Forbes’ annual billionaires list are Jewish. Of the 802 Nobel prizes handed out to date, 162 have gone to Jews.

In Michael H. Hart’s book, The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History, seven are Jews.

Jews have also featured prominently on Time’s annual list of the world’s 100 most influential people, and in 1999, the magazine named Albert Einstein person of the century.

IN A SHORT story by Philip Roth, a talent scout sends a letter to Einstein proposing that the renowned scientist host a weekly radio show to help reduce anti-Semitism.

“I would like them to know that the genius of all time is a Jew,” he writes. “The world must know and soon... that when it comes to smart, we are the tops.”

Four years ago, John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt shook the Jewish world by writing a paper, The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy, on what they perceived as the exaggerated influence of the Jewish lobby.

After being named by the pair as a key member of the media wing of the Israel lobby, Mortimer Zuckerman – a former head of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations – replied sardonically: “I would just say this: The allegations of this disproportionate influence of the Jewish community remind me of the 92-year-old man sued in a paternity suit. He said he was so proud, he pleaded guilty.”

Asked by reporter Greer Fay Cashman for his response on being chosen for our list, President Shimon Peres said that he tells both religious and non-religious Jews that the best example to follow is that of the Rambam (Maimonides), “who was great in his Jewishness and great in medicine without one contradicting the other.”

How much influence do Jews wield in the world, and how influential are those on our list? We leave you to judge.

The Real Reason Why Jews Win So Many Nobel Prizes
Forget the genius genes or bookish culture hocus pocus. Jewish achievement in the sciences is a modern phenomenon, but the passions that drove it are now ebbing away.

While most reactions were triumphalist (“Super Jews and Our Incredible Nobel Prize Statistics,” ran one headline), some were pensive. Here in Israel, the fact that two chemistry laureates had abandoned the Jewish State when they realized it held no jobs for them, tinctured our national pride with self-censure.
Elsewhere, rabbis and pundits tried to puzzle out what it is about Jews that make them so super at science.
Broadly, two sorts of theories have been floated. One is that Jews have primo genes. Charles Murray, the Enterprise Institute scholar and co-author of The Bell Curve, set out the case for this a few years ago in an essay in Commentary called Jewish Genius," writing bluntly that “something in the genes explains elevated Jewish IQ.” Another theory is that Jews love hitting the books, as Israeli economics laureate Robert Aumann told the army radio station Galei Tzahal: Jewish homes have overflowing bookshelves. Throughout the generations we have given great honor to this intellectual pursuit.

There are good reasons to doubt both sorts of theories. For one thing, Jewish excellence in science is a new thing. When the great Jewish folklorist Joseph Jacobs set out in 1886 to compare the talents of Jews with the talents of other Westerners, he found their performance mediocre in every science save medicine. In the first decades of the 20th century, Princeton psychologist Carl Brigham tested the intelligence of Jews in America, and concluded they “had an average intelligence below those from all other countries except Poland and Italy.” Jewish excellence in science is a phenomenon that flowered in the decades before and, especially, after the Second World War; it is too recent a phenomenon to be explained by natural selection, or even by putative ancient cultural traditions.

The real explanation of Jewish success in science lies elsewhere. The 20th century began with massive migrations of Jews, to the United States, to the cities of Russia (and then the Soviet Union), and to Palestine. In each of these new lands, Jews turned to science in great numbers because it promised a way to transcend the old world orders that had for so long excluded most Jews from power, wealth and society. Science, based as it is on values of universality, impartiality and meritocracy, appealed powerfully for Jews seeking to succeed in their new homes. It is not so much what Jews were (smart, bookish) that explains their success in science, as what we wanted to be (equal, accepted, esteemed), and in what sorts of places we wanted to live (liberal and meritocratic societies).
(in part)

Medicine was how they were able to have so many diseases that helped them, the Black Death being one such program the Jews excelled at.
All sciences are crap today, the Jews would be leading the charge rather than being dragged along against their will.

Enter Operation Paperclip.

Small price for an honest person in this hole full of Jewish liars. No wonder the collective has trouble finding new members so any child born to a jew is made into a Jew

What is the altitude that your pull the rip-cord as your descent to Mars, . . . Mr. Science, lol

https://govtslaves.info/2018/12/18/...ng-a-tiny-star-around-it-rather-than-planets/
The universe is full of surprises, and a colossal young star has been hiding a stellar one.
While observing infant star MM 1a, astronomers found that its massive disk was actually forming another star instead of planets. The much smaller companion, dubbed MM 1b, was detected just outside the behemoth star’s dusty disk, and could actually house a planet-forming disk of its own. The discovery of the new star, published on December 14 in the Astrophysical Journal Letters, marks one of the first times astronomers saw a star forming in the fragmented disk of another.
Stellar Siblings

Binary stars are pretty common in the universe, and it’s thought that they form the same way single stars do: from a massive cloud of dust and gas that collapses under its own gravity. If the molecular cloud is large enough, it can birth two similar-sized stars instead of one.
And since binary pairs are easily detectable, astronomers from the University of Leeds were rather surprised when they observed MM 1a. Homing in on the seemingly single star, they found an unexpected, much smaller companion star lurking in the outskirts of its dense disk — the region of dust and gas where planets typically form.
“In this case, the star and disk we have observed is so massive that, rather than witnessing a planet forming in the disk, we are seeing another star being born,” said John Ilee, a researcher at the University of Leeds and head of the study, in a news release.
http://www.astronomy.com/-/media/Images/News and Observing/News/2018/12/biglittlestar.jpg?mw=600

These images show the dust and gas emissions surround the strange pair. Dust emissions are shown in green, while gas is shown in red and blue (red is moving away from the star; blue is approaching). The smaller star, MM 1b, is visible in the lower left.

https://govtslaves.info/2018/12/18/...ot-drill-to-hunt-for-aliens-on-jupiters-moon/
Nasa scientists plan to send a nuclear robot drill to hunt for aliens on Jupiter’s moon

Scientists including researchers at Nasa have proposed a plan for a nuclear-powered robot drill that would dig into a moon in an attempt to find aliens.
The plan, nicknamed “tunnelbot”, would offer an opportunity to delve deep beneath the distant world of Jupiter’s moon Europa and check whether there are aliens hiding beneath its surface, as some researchers suspect.
The water hidden beneath Europa is considered one of the most promising places to find alien life in our own solar system. But it is stuck beneath a crust of ice, making it difficult to explore directly.
Now scientists have suggested that they could send the drill to dig into that crust and explore to try and find extraterrestrial life.
“We have performed a concept study for a nuclear powered tunneling probe (a tunnelbot) that can traverse through the ice shell and reach the ocean, carrying a payload that can search for nested, corroborative evidence for extant/extinct life,” the researchers wrote in a proposal given at the 2018 meeting of the American Geophysical Union. “The tunnelbot would also assess the habitability of the ice shell and underlying ocean.”

In reality that moon is Hudson Bay, CA, Russia will be doing the same in the Arctic Ocean where the Atlantic Rift ends as both places are where primordial ooze can be found. Canada's far north and Siberia hold the same kind of treasures that were found in South Africa. Exploration is a lot more difficult, like being on Mars really.

The mud that gets scraped off becomes the hills of BC (video), the gray part with the arrow through it can contain some mud as that is what turns into coal and oil and gas. The rest is the lightest magma the planet has and in this case it was at the rift about 5M years ago. It does not lose contact with the sand colored continental crust so there is no orange or yellow areas and by the time the down-flow starts under the Great Lakes the gray area would become part of the sandy colored area via grinding action.

They leave out the magma flow arrows for a reason, The Pacific Rift is sending as much magma to the east as the Atlantic Rift is sending westward. Where they meet and descend the crust dips down rather than mountains are raised. The Rockies are there as that is where the Pacific Rift first cracked the crust 200M years ago. The Mississippi is low because the crust is being pulled down a mile more than the foothills, same magma flow with a delay factor that varies. Cover the land with snow and that is like putting a blanket on it, 10,000 years later that has created a huge lake in the middle of a glacier and when it breaks looks it has the power needed to create the Scablands. So far those floods seem pretty regular so that gap might fit other graphs dealing with temper changes on the west coast. The Atlantic Rift releases heat that brakes the surface close to northern Europe rather than America get the heat.

Anybody want to propose that each section does not send material into the next zone because gravity turns it back around rather than it is cold and the heat draws it back. The heat still gets shed as fast as it needs to and the rising heat does cause convection currents in liquid but not in the crust.
Before I go any further anybody want to explain what it gets hotter the deeper you go that you go from a combo of liquid iron/nickle to a solid rather than a gas combo of those two metals.
