That's one of my biggest beefs with the whole Fox News thing. If this had been on one of their political shows ... then fine. But to have the emblem in the bottom left corner indicating it's news, plus the news crawl along the bottom while discussing this? Ridiculous. And a bit sad. News is no longer reporting what has happened based on the available facts, it's become little more than op/eds to sway people into believing whatever benefits you most, whether you're a huge corporation like Fox (and other msm) or a snake oil salesman like Beck.

I watched the above video, & it does make a valid point in that Strippers
didn't attack the World Trade Center on 9/11....or did they? Hmmm....

I'll have to fire up the ol' Google and see if there's a theory about a bunch
of Strippers being behind this thing. It's no more far fetched than many
of the other theories surrounding this subject.

Oh! Got a few Google hits! I now have a theory as valid as some of the
others surrounding 9/11...

Google

With some self-promotion, I can be the next "Alex Jones" here!!! Anyone
wanna buy a water filtration device I'll endorse? Guarantee'd to keep those
Strippers from crashing a plane into your home!!!

I must not understand your point. Are you saying that gawker fabricated the Fox News clip? True, I could have gone directly to the Fox site and posted the link from there ... but I was already on gawker and am feeling a little lazy this morning. :p

what does where the server is hosted have to do with anything. They put a clip up of Fox news's commentary on the "map". I think it pretty much speaks for itself to anyone with half a brain. Fox news wouldn't know the truth if it jumped up and kicked their teeth out.

It's a point of wiew on Fox news just like a point of view on Gawkwers which you happen to beleive in...which doesn't make one or the other right or wrong anywhere but in your mind.
You have the right to call it "faux" news the same as I have the right to call your source a blogger's rag

Fox puts it across as if it is fact, not someones opinion. The blond bimbo does not state that "in her opinion the Imam is threatening the u.s." she stated that the Imam threatened the u.s. which is a blatant lie.

Oh wow. Well, just to play devil's advocate here:

Among all the dead bodies, which ones were Muslims? And I'm not talking about the so-called Muslims who flew the planes into the buildings, but decent Muslims rather, including at least one first responder who gave his life on 9/11? I'm sure if they could talk, they'd be disgusted first at having been murdered by so-called Muslims, and now being blamed for their own murder! Talk about a kick in the face.

Also, if the issue is about respect, how is operating a strip club in the area in any way appropriate?

Then there is the distinction, whereby strippers are not responsible for the attacks, but extremist Muslims are. Well, if that's the argument, then I can certainly agree that an extremist-Muslim centre would be inappropriate. So, are they accusing that local Muslim congregation, which itself lost members to 9/11 by the way, of being extremist?

Talk about grossly contorting the facts to spread hate.

On 9/11, finding hope for Islam in America | National Catholic Reporter

From the article; quote:
"That redemptive history gives me hope that, in time, Americans can understand that the enemy is not Islam, but the violent extremists who claim to be acting in the name of Islam -- just as we knew immediately that Christianity did not murder Wichita abortion doctor George Tiller in 2009. Instead, that was the evil work of one man who acted wildly beyond the bounds of what Christianity teaches.
So this 9/11 I continue to grieve the death of my nephew but I also grieve the anti-Islamic hatred I find among some Americans. And yet I grieve not as others do who have no hope."

If anyone else would say "If the mosque is moved there is a danger that it would spur repercussions in the moslem world" it could be just innocent words But coming from the imam who has just come back from conferring with leaders in the middle east, it's a "veiled" threat but a threat just the same...its not like the talking heads you see on tv....their words are measured for maximum effect.
Peoples' ideology paints their view of the world ....I recognize that......do you?

Yet any ten year old with half a brain can dissect all the false logic of that video. And to think grown adults just swallow it whole. Man there's a lot of sucking going on among Fox News fans.

What I heard was a man stating a fact as to what "could" or "might" happen if the extremists get their way and the cultural centre is nixed. Fox and their like minded bigots are all about inflaming bigotry through the use of fear mongering and lies. The same things that the KKK , or any of dozens of racist/bigoted groups, has and does use.
