That's what I am saying. I cannot believe they can do that.

On the other hand, having a law that says you must have X amount of Canadians to every X amount of foreign workers would never float in the US.

Having a law that says you must have X amount of Americans to every X amount of foreign workers would never float in Canada either.

Understood.

Rules for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) say if an immigrant establishes a company in Regina or Saskatoon, they have to employ at least two Canadians or permanent residents.

This is the rule I was referencing.

I can see why they would decline the interview.

So much for transparency in the Trudeau government.
This sounds like a provincial matter . I would think federal labor laws must apply in there somewhere .
