And he's correct. It only makes sense, especially since the Democrats have already stated that they would "challenge" the election results if Trump won! So it's important that the seat be filled and it's Trump's obligation (as well as the Senate's) to do their jobs. Hopefully, Trump will win by a landslide, but even with that, I'm sure the Leftist Dems will still want to challenge the results. Either way, it's a necessary step that needs to be taken & resolved before the election if not before the end of the year. Trump is still President and he can make the nomination with the Senate either supporting or not whomever it is he's putting forward. I just hope that the woman he chooses will get confirmed so it can be gotten out of the way before the election but I'm not overly optimistic. Too many clowns involved LOL.
