I'll try that if I can ever find some. I got onto the Appleton because our local pub owner likes the stuff. It is tasty rum. I was drinking Bacardi's Gold before that.

My sister picked up a bottle of rum when she was in Cuba earlier in the month. I am not sure what the brand is, but the percentage proof is huge! If I get a taste, I will make sure it is on a day off. Yee-haw!:cool:

I once bought a bottle of Bacardi rum (in a duty free shop), it was twice the regular strength, it was 160 proof.

Then of course, there is aquavit, which you get in Denmark and some other countries, it is 96% alcohol (not 96 proof, but 96%).
