Implement both. Then pick something as expensive as going to the moon or the cold war and spend the same on creating some new business ventures, such as feeding the fish in the Great Lakes, or a hemp industry.

How much higher would the wages have to be to create enough spending money to raise the GDP? Lowering taxes In My Opinion is the better way, you're hoping to free up capital to invest into your business and create more employment.

Raising wages just increases inflation so we soon wind up right where we started. Lowering taxes puts more descresionary spending in the hands of the people that earned it which boosts the economy.

Lower taxes if everybody is going to be on vacation. Lower wages means the ones that are unemployed can get out of the house and take advantage of the recreational sites Canad has. Keep the tourism dollar circulating at home while attracting foreigners as well. Hospitality rather than manufacturing.

How about this? $1 in your pocket at all times no matter what you want to do. At the end of the year or at the end of your life it all goes back to the 'pool'. Inheritances no longer apply and nobody is ever broke.
