The update on the Israeli strike is they hit the terrorists (friendly fire accident) rather than Syrian Forces.
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201706251054955612-irael-golan-heights-nusra/
The Iraeli Air Forces attacked al-Nusra Front equipment on Saturday in Golan Heights, not the Syrian army, a source in the Russian Defense Ministry said Sunday.

As a result of this airstrike, two tanks and large-calibre machine gun of the terrorists were destroyed.
"The Saturday strike of the Israeli air force aircraft in the Golan Heights area was in fact carried out against the armored vehicles of the Jabhat al-Nusra militants. The Israelis simply struck at the place from which the firing was conducted. As a result of this air strike, two tanks and a large-caliber machine gun of the terrorists were destroyed," the source said.

Israeli Air Forces Attacked al-Nusra Front on Saturday in Golan Heights - Source in Russian MoD

On Saturday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that projectiles fired from Syrian territory hit an open area in the northern Golan Heights with no injuries as a result of the incident. "In response to over 10 projectiles launched from Syria, IAF aircraft targeted origin of launches & 2 Syrian tanks," the IDF stated.
"Due to the unacceptable breach of Israeli sovereignty, an official protest has been filed with UNDOF," the IDF added.

Sort of Syria related and it isn't important enough for a new thread. What this is is putting up a stumbling block that they alone control so they can play the 'enemy at the gate' while they both deal under the table. Since the area is awash with events being matched to the Bible this would be from the verse below just because Russia cannot be made into the bad guy but Qatar can be the king of the north and Saudi could be the king of the south. They have a lot to fulfill in Daniel:11.

Da:11:27:
And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief,
and they shall speak lies at one table;
but it shall not prosper:
for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

Trump's role can also be pointed out in what is a false version of what the prophecies stand for in terms of a literal fulfillment. That would be a topic for another thread but it isn't that important at the moment. If Trump is said to represent the freedom loving people of the whole world then the visitor he had from Israel that lasted less than 1 hour would be a fulfillment of this verse. Both references are end time prophecies and the tone for the NWO was a 7 year plan but shelving that is pretty easy and they can just claim some new information has been uncovered and change it almost overnight. & would be the one that fits with this verse as 3 1/2 years of peace comes first and then it turns really bad for the next 3 1/2 and in the end the Rothschild Bankers come to the rescue of everybody and they have a firm hold on the 'god' label and will take full advantage of it.

Could you mix me up a steaming cup of cavil, I want to speed up the clusterfuk we are living in. The quote below is a warning rather than a prophecy. l take it to be liars

Zeal to promote the common good, whether it be by devising anything ourselves, or revising that which hath been laboured by others, deserveth certainly much respect and esteem, but yet findeth but cold entertainment in the world. It is welcomed with suspicion instead of love, and with emulation instead of thanks: and if there be any hole left for cavil to enter, (and cavil, if it do not find a hole, will make one) it is sure to be misconstrued, and in danger to be condemned. This will easily be granted by as many as know story, or have any experience.

Re:17:12:
And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings,
which have received no kingdom as yet;
but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

That is how far off the wording can be but that won't alter what is presented as to why Trump is doing what he has been doing lately. The logical explanation is another plan is already in motion so he has to go along with it and then he might get some say-so in what happens inside the borders of the US.

Here is a good example of how bullshit is spread.

ISIL: Target Russia - Featured Documentary

Published on May 27, 2017
Al-Qaeda and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, also known as ISIS) have always considered "the West" - and the United States in particular - the ultimate enemy.

But following President Vladimir Putin's policy of military involvement in Syria, Russia may have taken its place as ISIL's main target.

"At the moment ISIL's rage is directed at Bashar al-Assad and Putin. They are the main enemies of ISIL because Russia has smashed ISIL in Syria and the same in Iraq. They will do anything to get their revenge on Russia," says Ahmad Saeedi, Dawat University, Kabul.

Thousands of ISIL fighters from Syria, Iraq and elsewhere are regrouping in the virtually impregnable mountains of Afghanistan, plotting revenge against the Kremlin.

ISIL's high command have given orders to target Russian cities, with thousands of trained fighters ready to act at any time.

Most recently, a lone terrorist on the metro in St Petersburg demonstrated the vulnerability of any modern city. On a moving train, in the middle of the day, a young Uzbek man with Russian citizenship detonated a bomb made with TNT and packed with shrapnel. Dozens were hurt and 15 killed. The bomber was later reported in the Russian media to have been in Syria with ISIL in 2014.

The Russians maintain that they are monitoring ISIL's movements closely, claiming lack of concern regarding threats from the group.

The Russia-Afghanistan connection is nothing new, with a decades-old history laced in conflict.

The Soviet-Afghan war, led by Leonid Brezhnev first and then Mikhail Gorbachev in the mid-80s, was waged against insurgent groups known as the "mujahideen" and the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan. After almost a decade of war, they were driven out by a coalition of Afghan tribesmen led by the charismatic Ahmad Shah Masoud, who became known as the Lion of Panjshir.

When the Soviet army eventually withdrew in 1989, the power vacuum made way for the rise of different armed factions which would slowly tear the nation apart - allowing the Taliban, al-Qaeda and ISIL to take root in Afghanistan.

Zubair Massoud, the nephew of Ahmed Shah Massoud, is the adviser to the Afghan National Security Council. He sees the recent influx of ISIL fighters as a major threat to Afghanistan and its neighbouring countries.

"The terrorists you see in Syria are the same individuals that are here now in Afghanistan. These are terrorists that come from different countries - from Tajikistan, from Uzbekistan, Chechnya. It's a strategic place. They could go across the border and finally their main goal is Russia," he says.

As well as attacking isolated villages, ISIL has brought terror to the capital, Kabul. In one incident alone, 80 people were killed in a suicide bombing. So if they manage to infiltrate Russia with the number of trained sleeper cells they speak of, then the carnage they currently create in Afghanistan is merely a precursor to their plans for Moscow, St Petersburg and other target cities.

Zamir Kabulov, President Putin's special envoy to Afghanistan, appears dismissive of the growing threats across the borders from Russia. He says that the worst-case scenario would only be realised if ISIL were able to create instability across Central Asia, flooding Russia with refugees that could cause a security issue.

Massoud fears that the Russians and other neighbouring countries to the north of Afghanistan may not understand the extent of the situation, with numbers of fighters in the region growing at an exponential rate.

"As I have seen in the last three to four years we're in a very bad state in Afghanistan," says Massoud.

"Just as the US troops were starting to leave, more militants started to come inside Afghanistan. They've come together and they're increasing in size every day. Last year, there were 300. Now there are 2,000 foreigners in Badakhshan, which is a danger for everyone."

With unprecedented access, ISIL: Target Russia looks at how ISIL and its splinter groups are training and organising to move fighter units north, through the Caucuses, with the intent of attacking Russia. We profile some of ISIL's women fighters and meet commanders and fighters in the remote mountains of northern Afghanistan who explain that their plan to hit Russia is already well under way.

I also see that the number of vids released by this news network are all high quality and expose new things about the wars in the area. Be interesting to see what the messages are as Qatar is the host country for them and they are a US asset and the war with other states is fake and this might be the objective, a new news network flooding the airwaves.

Trumps blind support will end up biting him in the ass.

https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201706271055004025-syria-us-claims-chemical-attack/
Ali Haidar, the Minister of State for National Reconciliation Affairs in Syria, slammed the White House for claiming that Washington had identified potential preparations for a chemical attack by Syrian government forces. Damascus has never used and will never use such weapons, Haidar said, adding that the statement issued by the White House portends a "diplomatic battle" against Syria in the UN.
Earlier today, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow considers such US authorities' threats against Syrian legitimate leadership to be unacceptable.
The Syrian government cannot be held accountable for the April 4 chemical attack in the Idlib province "because, as you know, despite all of Russia's demands, an unbiased international investigation of the previous tragedy has not been carried out," he added.
On April 4, the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces supported by the United States blamed the Syrian government for an alleged chemical weapon attack in Khan Sheikhoun in Syria’s Idlib province. Reacting to the incident, Washington, which had not presented any proof of the chemical weapons use by Damascus, launched 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles at the Syrian governmental military airfield in Ash Sha’irat on April 6.

https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201706271055002138-kremlin-us-threats-syria/
The Kremlin spokesman commented on White House's statement claiming that Washington identified potential preparations for a chemical attack by Syrian government force and is ready to respond to it.

"We heard about this statement. We do not know what is the basis for this. And of course we categorically disagree with the 'another attack' wording," Peskov told reporters.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that it considers such US authorities' threats against Syrian legitimate leadership unacceptable.
"We also consider any similar threats to the legitimate leadership of the Syrian Arab Republic unacceptable," Peskov stressed.

Let's hope the rumors are true.

It
The Trump administration has issued statements which confirm beyond a doubt that if there are any chemical weapons attacks on civilians in Syria, they are not being perpetrated by the Syrian government but by some other party trying to provoke and/or manufacture support for NATO aggression against the Assad administration.
The statement released by the White House reads as follows:
“The United States has identified potential preparations for another chemical weapons attack by the Assad regime that would likely result in the mass murder of civilians, including innocent children. The activities are similar to preparations the regime made before its April 4, 2017 chemical weapons attack.
As we have previously stated, the United States is in Syria to eliminate the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. If, however, Mr. Assad conducts another mass murder attack using chemical weapons, he and his military will pay a heavy price.”
So there you have it. The Trump administration has now threatened the Syrian government so aggressively, specifically and unequivocally that if there is a chemical weapons attack on civilians it can only mean one of two things: either (A) Assad is suffering from some sort of severe and untreated form of schizophrenia which would cause him to deliberately invite the wrath of the most powerful military force in the history of human civilization, or (B) the attack wasn’t perpetrated by Assad at all. Since we can tell from Assad’s intelligent and thoughtful interviews in perfect Englishthat he is mentally competent, we will be able to safely eliminate the first possibility, leaving only the conclusion that it was a false flag of some sort.
(in part)

White House Says It Will Fake
MOON OF ALABAMAThe White House claims that the Syrian government is preparing “chemical weapon attacks”. This is clearly not the case. Syria is winning the war against the country. Any such attack would clearly be to its disadvantage. The White House announcement must thereby be understood as preparation for another U.S. attack on Syria in “retaliation” for an upcoming staged “chemical weapon attack” which will be blamed on the Syrian government.
In August 2013 Syria invited inspectors of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to investigate chemical weapons attacks on the Syrian army. As soon as the inspectors arrived in Damascus a “chemical attack” was staged in Ghouta near Damascus. Lots of Jihadist video coverage of killed children was published and the “western” media blamed the incident on the Syrian government. It never explained why targeting a militarily irrelevant area with chemical weapons at the same time as inspectors arrived would have been a rational decision for a Syrian government that was just regaining control and international standing.
The “attack” was clearly staged by the opposition of the Syrian government and its foreign supporters. The Obama administration had planned to use it to launch U.S. attacks on the Syrian government but refrained from this when Russia arranged to remove Syria’s strategic chemical weapons, aimed at Israel, instead.
In early 2017 the new U.S. president Trump made positive comments about the Syrian government. Assad can stay, he said. The Syrian military and its allies had gained the upper hand and were victorious on all fronts. Two days later another “chemical attack” was staged in the al-Qaeda held town of Khan Sheikhun. Lots of Jihadi video coverage of killed children, likely prepared in advance, was spilled onto the “western” public. U.S. intelligence knew that no chemical attack by the Syrian government had taken place. But the Trump administration used the incident to launch a volley of cruise missiles against a Syrian military airport. The neoconservatives were delighted. They finally had Trump where they wanted him. The media coverage changed from damming Trump for his alleged “Russian connections” to lauding his decisiveness in response to the faked attack.
Late May the new French president Macron ostensibly changed his position towards the Syrian government. The hostile position of France (and other EU countries) against the Syrian president Assad that had been eminent throughout the last six years changed on a dime:
Macron said that on Syria: “My profound conviction is that we need a political and diplomatic roadmap. We won’t solve the question only with military force. That is a collective error we have made. The real change I’ve made on this question, is that I haven’t said the deposing of Bashar al-Assad is a prerequisite for everything. Because no one has introduced me to his legitimate successor!
But Macron also added:
“I have red lines on chemical weapons and humanitarian corridors. I said it very clearly to Vladimir Putin. I will be uncompromising on that. So the use of chemical weapons will be met with a response, and even if France acts alone.”
This immediately set off my warning lights:

Moscow perceives allegations made by the White House that Syria could be preparing a chemical attack as an "invitation" for terrorists to launch a provocation using chemical weapons, Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement Wednesday.

Earlier this week, White House spokesperson Sean Spicer claimed that the United States allegedly "observed potential preparations for another chemical weapons attack by the Assad regime."
"We consider these new insinuations on the issue of weapons of mass destruction — in the worst traditions of 2003 NATO intervention in Iraq — to be nothing less than an invitation for terrorists, extremists and armed opposition in Syria to fabricate another mass provocation using chemical weapons," the statement, published on the Ministry's website, said. "After [the provocation], the 'inevitable punishment' for Bashar Assad should follow, as envisioned by Washington."

The Trump administration's statements that it will not give proof of its allegations that the Syrian government is preparing a chemical attack are out of line with norms of international relations, Russian political analyst Lev Klepatsky told Sputnik.

Earlier this week, White House spokesperson Sean Spicer claimed that the United States allegedly "observed potential preparations for another chemical weapons attack by the Assad regime…"
According to Spicer, "the activities are similar to preparations the regime made before its April 4, 2017 chemical weapons attack."
State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert, for her part, said during a press briefing on Tuesday that that she could not provide evidence of the Syrian government 's alleged chemical attack preparations because that "would be considered an intelligence matter."

The US bullshit continues unabated.

http://www.globalresearch.ca/planned-false-flag-cw-attack-by-terrorists-in-syria/5597005

ccording to Syria’s Foreign Ministry, US-supported terrorists plan another false flag CW attack, saying:
They intend “blow(ing) up (munitions) filled with poisonous materials in the near future in one of Daraa province areas” – a provocation giving Washington unjustifiable justification to strike Syrian forces again.
False flags are a longstanding American tradition, dating from the 19th century, acts of mass deception, incidents wrongfully blamed on innocent parties, used as pretexts for US aggression.
According to Syria’s Foreign Ministry, Washington intends using a staged CW attack, wrongfully blamed on government forces, “to justify a new act of aggression against Syria under false pretenses, similar to the US aggression on Shayrat airport.”
“(T)hreats” follow numerous cities, towns and villages liberated by Syrian and allied forces, greatly aided by Russian airpower – smashing ISIS and other US-supported terrorist groups.
“Syria reiterates that it has irretrievably removed the chemical program, as confirmed by the relevant international organizations, and that it doesn’t possess any chemical weapons, and that it strongly condemns the use of chemical weapons in any place and for any reason and under any pretext,” its Foreign Ministry stressed.
It “has not resorted to the use of any toxic chemicals since the beginning of the crisis at all, and it stresses that it fully cooperated with the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) during the period following its accession to the Chemical Weapons Convention.”
Damascus “condemns and rejects” earlier and threatened US aggression against its military and defenseless civilians – supporting anti-government terrorists, flagrantly violating international law, wanting Syria destroyed, not liberated.
On Thursday, the State Department falsely accused Damascus of “continued use of chemical weapons and its failure to destroy its chemical weapons program in its entirety.”
It lied, claiming “Syria continues to fail to comply with its legal obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) and UN Security Council Resolution 2118.”
Without any credible on-site inspections, the OPCW lied, claiming toxic sarin was used in Khan Sheikhoun on April 4.
The incident was a false flag, wrongfully blamed on Damascus. No evidence suggests residents were victims of sarin or any other CW.
None sought medical treatment. No antidotes or decontaminants were requested, no help of any kind.
No legitimate investigation was conducted. The OPCW stonewalled for many weeks. The only so-called evidence came from al-Qaeda-connected White Helmets videos – easily faked.
Images of Khan Sheikhoun showed neither their elements or anyone else wearing protective clothing – vital if toxic agents were present.
A so-called OPCW fact-finding mission pretended to investigate the alleged Khan Sheikhoun incident.
Claiming residents were “exposed to sarin” was a bald-faced lie – supported by no credible evidence. None exists. No April 4 CW attack occurred – none using sarin or any other toxin.
On Thursday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said falsely accusing Assad of planning “another” CW attack “very likely” signals further US aggression.
“The (phony) story will be the same.” A staged incident will happen in territory controlled by US-backed terrorists, wrongfully blamed on Assad’s government.
Pentagon aggression will follow, escalating conflict more than already.
Washington wants endless war, not resolution, undermining Russia good faith efforts to restore peace and stability to Syria.

https://sputniknews.com/military/201707021055152834-pentagon-admits-casualty-count-flaws/
Adding fuel to the fire in documenting the hotly debated collateral damage figures in Washington’s ongoing wars in the Middle East, the Pentagon has admitted that its casualty estimates are not based on witness or victim accounts.

Contained within the transcript of a news conference at the Pentagon, Brigadier General Paul Bontrager, the Deputy Director for Operations with Central Command, stated when they tally the death of innocents in battle, US forces do not attempt to gather information from victims, witnesses or anyone on the ground, relying instead upon in-house estimates based on data recorded by satellite, aircraft and other surveillance platforms.
Asked to confirm that the Pentagon gathers no data from sources on the ground and that no attempt is made to visit battle or air strike sites, Bontrager asserted that the statement was true, and was "common," according to Airwars.com.
"It's a rare thing with strikes like this that we can get on the ground in person, or that we can talk to anybody on the ground," Bontrager added, cited by justsecurity.com.
Although US Director of National Intelligence Dan Coates has claimed that Pentagon investigations into the death of innocents in battle at the hands of US forces "leave no stone unturned," Washington's failure to seek data from witnesses and victims is a marked and significant flaw in their methods, as reported by justsecurity.com.
According to multiple reports, casualty figures in the wake of US airstrikes are routinely undercounted, and the new admission from a Pentagon spokesman points out the truth behind the consistent allegations by human rights NGOs in the region.

A diplomatic source said that Russia gathered incontestable evidence proving the use of foreign weapons and ammunition by terrorist groups in Syria.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia gathered incontestable evidence proving the use of foreign weapons and ammunition by terrorist groups in Syria, a diplomatic source told Sputnik on Saturday.
"Russian officers of the Center for Syrian Reconciliation registered on Saturday 48 mortar shelling of the Al-Qabas quarter from the positions of illegal armed formations in Ein Tarma and Jobar. Moreover, they gathered incontestable evidence proving that terrorists use foreign weapons and ammunition — took photos of shatters of the shells produced abroad with serial numbers," the source said.

Nuri Mehmud, an official representative of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), said in an interview with Sputnik Turkey that the group will defend its territories if there is an attack on Afrin from Turkey.

According to Mehmud, there is active military activity of the Turkish armed forces on the Syrian border in the area of Afrin.
The Turkish troops and military equipment are being drawn at present and it seems that the Turkish troops are preparing to carry out an operation in Afrin, the representative said.
“Turkey has deployed its military and equipment on the Syrian border near the Aazaz and Mare region. This activity is taking place because Turkey is preparing to attack Tel Rifat and Afrin,” Mehmud said.
He further said, “Turkey wants to establish control over these areas and strengthen its influence there. We intend to protect our territories and repel the attack no matter where it comes from,” the representative concluded.

High-ranking Israeli officials seem to be shying away from claiming responsibility for an alleged Israeli strike against a site near Damascus International Airport in Syria on Thursday. The Russian media, however, was able to obtain at least some commentary.

On Thursday, a large explosion occurred close to the Damascus airport, with initial reports claiming that it was an Israeli attack on a supposed Hezbollah supply hub.
Following the incident, Israel's Minister of Transportation and the Minister of Intelligence Yisrael Katz made an interesting comment, saying that the strike "is in line with Israel's policy of countering Iranian attempts to supply modern weapons to Hezbollah through Syria," but stopped short of saying Israel was responsible for the strikes.
Katz also cited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's pledge to continue Israeli efforts to prevent the alleged delivery of weapons from Iran to Hezbollah, which is fighting on the side of the Syrian government forces.
For its part, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) press office also refrained from commenting on the matter.
Russian online newspaper Vzglyad, however, got in touch with Elina Bardach-Yalova, Press Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Israel, who provided at least some commentary.
"Yisrael Katz has made a somewhat ambiguous remark. I don't think he suggested that it would be perceived as confirmation," she told the outlet.
Israeli defense and military officials, however, have expressed concern over Iran's activity in Syria. On Wednesday, one day before the explosion, the country's Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman told Russian ministers during a meeting in Moscow that Israel "will not tolerate attempts by Iran to transfer weapons to Hezbollah" and "won’t allow concentrations of Iranian and Hezbollah forces on the Golan Heights."
Speaking with Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Liberman expressed Israel’s concern that Iran is allegedly using Syrian territory to smuggle arms to the Lebanese group, which is viewed by Tel Aviv as a terrorist organization, something Israel has said it cannot condone.
"In this particular case, Israel is interested in Hezbollah only because this group is being supplied from Syria, with the help of Iran, with high-precision missiles which can pose a threat to the residents of Israel," Bardach-Yalova told the website.
"These are long-range missiles and Israel has every intention to prevent the supply of these missiles to Hezbollah. Such handovers often take place on Syrian soil and in cases where it is impossible to prevent it by any other means, we have to destroy these deliveries," she added

Somebody should be looking at some recent deaths at a US military base in Qatar as being where the chemicals are located. That could also explain the bullshit collision with a US destroyer in the Sea of Japan.

A provocation involving the use of sarin in Syria being prepared by the Jabhat Fatah al Sham terrorist group, formerly known as al-Nusra Front, may happen in the near future, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security Frants Klintsevich told Sputnik on Sunday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Earlier in the day, a military-diplomatic source told Sputnik that the Jabhat Fatah al Sham was preparing provocations with the use of the sarin poisonous gas in the towns of Khan Sheikhoun and Kefraya.
“Undoubtedly, this information has a high confidence level. I expect this provocation to happen in the near future,” Klintsevich said.
He said that Russia was working on the issue.
Klintsevich also pointed out the connection between the provocation and the soon arrival of a US carrier strike group to the Syrian shore.
“As soon as it [the group] arrives, the provocation with the use of chemical weapons will occur and the United States will launch an air attack,” the lawmaker said.

Klintsevich noted that the Syrian government could not be involved in chemical attacks as its weapons were removed and liquidated, which is confirmed by the data of the OPCW. He added that the fact that terrorists in Syria were producing chemical weapons had been known for a long time.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The source pointed out that a group of foreign citizens including those from the United States and Turkey as well as one of Jabhat Fatah al Sham's senior leaders had arrived in Idlib to take part in the preparations for the provocations. "According to the obtained information, a preparation for organizing a provocation with the use of the sarin poisonous chemical is being carried out in the Al Magarah settlement [the Idlib province], in a big technological building. The shells with this poisonous gas are presumably held in this storage," the source said.
"There are reasons to believe that this provocation will be committed in the settlements of Khan Sheikhoun and Kefraya. Its goal is to discredit the Syrian government and to wreck the Astana negotiation process scheduled for July 4-5," the source added.

Now why would a Political leader have businesses interests in Saudi that is worth billions not want his native country to help defeat Saudi terrorists in the country right next door? Answer, the very same kind of guy that would be meeting and coaching false witnesses in relation to his own father's assassination.

Lebanon PM: accusations against Syria were mistake - The San Diego Union-Tribune
Lebanon's prime minister said he was wrong to accuse Syria of involvement in the 2005 assassination of his father, a major turnaround for a politician who has long blamed Damascus for the Beirut truck bombing that killed Rafik Hariri and 22 others.
In an interview published Monday, Saad Hariri said the accusation was politically motivated.
"This was a political accusation, and this political accusation has ended," he told the Saudi-owned newspaper Asharq al-Awsat. Hariri's office in Beirut had no comment on the report.
Hariri's comments come at a time when he and his Western-backed political bloc are struggling to maintain momentum as Syria's allies in Lebanon - the Shiite militant group Hezbollah - gain influence.
Since December, the prime minister has made five trips to Syria and both sides have urged reconciliation.
Syria continues to wield influence in Lebanon through its backing of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah, which has a large role in Lebanon's fragile national unity government. In just a few years, Hezbollah has gained so much political strength it now has a virtual veto power over government decisions.
The late Hariri, a billionaire businessman credited with rebuilding Lebanon after its 15-year civil war ended in 1990, had been trying to limit Syria's domination of Lebanon in the months before his assassination.
The death of Hariri, a former prime minister, sparked massive anti-Syrian protests in Lebanon, dubbed the Cedar Revolution, which led to Syria's withdrawal of its army after nearly 30 years of military and political domination of its tiny neighbor.
Damascus has consistently denied any involvement in the assassination.

This would be funny if people were no dying.

Following the reports of six SDF fighters injured in an air strike in Syria Pentagon blames Russian air forces.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) —The US-led coalition fighting against Daesh terrorist group in Syria has accused Russia on Saturday of attacking the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) near the Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor.
Pentagon claimed that when Russia bombed a target near Deir ez-Zor it knew that the SDF units and coalition advisers were there.
"At approximately 12:30 a.m. GMT Sept. 16, Russian forces struck a target east of the Euphrates River in Syria near Dayr Az Zawr, causing injuries to Coalition partner forces. Russian munitions impacted a location known to the Russians to contain Syrian Democratic Forces and Coalition advisors. Several SDF fighters were wounded and received medical care as a result of the strike. Multinational Coalition troops advising and assisting the SDF were present but not wounded as a result of the Russian strike," the statement read.
Earlier in the day, a Kurdish source told Sputnik that at least six Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters were injured in a Syrian air force attack in eastern Syria.

No matter what was the US initial goal in Syria, the plans have ended up in failure. Two investigative documents have emerged stating that the United States have been supplying arms and ammunition purchased from several Eastern European countries to terrorist groups in Syria under the guise to fight the Islamic State (IS). The weapons included AK-47 rifles, rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launchers, mortars, and other weapons and ammunition purchased in the Czech Republic, Georgia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine. The supplies did not result in victories.
President Trump gave the American field commanders in Syria the authority to launch strikes, raids and campaigns as in an active war zone, loosening restrictions protecting civilians. The measure did not help drastically change the situation in US favor. The Pentagon initiated the ill-fated ‘train and equip” program to have pro-US forces on the ground. It failed and was cancelled. The America-backed rebels tried to launch offensives along the Jordanian border but to no avail.
The United States had to pull out from al-Tanf, one of three official border crossings between Syria and Iraq, to leave the border area to pro-Syrian government forces. The US-led coalition had decided not to enter the eastern city of Deir ez Zor, where Syrian troops recently broke the IS siege that had lasted for three years. No gains were made. Nothing worked. By and large, all the hard efforts have gone down the drain. The American influence on the events in Syria is limited.
The Kurd-dominated Syria Democratic Forces (SDF) led by the United States got stuck in Raqqa. The Kurds have little desire to fight anybody outside the territory they control. Furthermore, reliance on the SDF has greatly deteriorated the US relations with Turkey and that’s a big problem with no solution in sight.
There is nothing left but a slim hope the “green” or “moderate” rebels will unite and do something about it. According to recent reports, they are regrouping to give it another try. Dozens of Syrian rebel factions, including the notorious Islamist group Ahrar al-Sham, have backed a proposed plan to unify the fractured opposition movement and create a single “United National Army” (UNA). The formation of the army was mandated by the Turkey-based Syrian Interim Government (SIG) and is set to be headed by SIG Prime Minister Jawad Abu Hatab. The idea was put forward in August by the opposition’s interim government in exile and by the Syrian Islamic Council (SIC). Many of the groups united now under the national army’s banner suffered defeat from the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham group, the former al-Qaeda affiliate, which established control in the province of Idlib in August. Since they were not strong enough to resist the jihadists’ group, one can hardly imagine them winning against the seasoned Syrian pro-government forces supported by Russian aviation.
The formation of the UNA is destined to demonstrate to the world that there were alternatives to the Assad-led Syria’s government and the IS group. Syrian opposition delegates were in Doha on September 7 to meet with the Qatari foreign minister, following the creation of the army. The visit was part of a diplomatic offensive with sympathetic nations ahead of the upcoming UN General Assembly meeting in New York started on September 12. The opposition is expected to form a single delegation that can meet face-to-face with the Damascus government in the next round of negotiations scheduled to take place in Geneva next month.
The effort is taking place as supplies of aid, money and weapons to the Syria’s “moderate” opposition are dwindling along with international support. In late August, the Jordanian government expressed hope for reopening of its border crossing with Syria as it says relations with Damascus are “in the right direction.” This is a very important about-face. Jordan shares a border of more than 370 kilometers with Syria. In August, Saudi Arabia told the Syrian opposition to come to terms with Assad staying in power.
The West appears to have finally dropped its demand for the ouster of President Assad. The US no longer views Assad’s departure as a precondition for peaceful management in Syria. In July, President Trump ordered the CIA to stop aiding anti-Assad rebels. According to the Washington Post, “this decision provided Russia with final confirmation that it owns Syria.”
British Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, believes that Assad’s departure is “not a precondition. But part of a transition.” He even believes that Assad could run for election. In June, French President Emmanuel Macron said Paris no longer sees the removal of Assad as a priority in the Syrian conflict.
It has become clear that support for the anti-Assad militias failed to produce significant results. As a result, no major power still backs the Syrian opposition’s demand that Assad’s removal precede any diplomatic process.

B) a goal was the capture of 29 Russian peacekeepers,
C) the attack was foiled in dramatic, heavy fighting involving many Russian troops,
D) the US-backed and directed forces suffered a devastating defeat. Losses included:

UAE Says Iran is Main Obstacle to Arab peace
The foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates says Iran's "hostile and expansionist policy" is the major obstacle to solving all crises in the Arab world.
Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan accused Iran of interfering in the internal affairs of other countries and supporting "terrorist groups," including Shiite Houthi rebels in Yemen and Hizbullah, the Lebanese group fighting alongside Syrian government forces.
He told the U.N. General Assembly's annual ministerial meeting on Friday that Iran is also supporting "terrorist groups and cells" in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait.
Al Nahyan said "Iran has not only committed blatant violations of the principles of sovereignty, but also continues to exploit the crises in the Arab world to undermine regional security by inciting and fueling conflict."
He said Iran must realize that the best basis "for a harmonious relationship with the states in the Arab Gulf" is to respect the sovereignty of countries in the region.
The UAE along with Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Bahrain cut all ties to Qatar in June, accusing it of supporting extremism and being soft on Iran.
The Emirati minister told the General Assembly: "We have a clear choice with no alternative: to stand against terrorism in all manifestations and to stand against all perpetrators without exception."

Yesterday three high ranking Russian officers were killed in an “ISIS attack” in eastern-Syrian. It is likely that they were killed by U.S. special forces or insurgents under U.S. special forces control. The incident will be understood as a declaration of war.
The U.S. Central Command in the Middle East wants the oil fields in east-Syria under control of its proxy forces to set up and control a U.S. aligned Kurdish mini-state in the area. The Syrian government, allied with Russia, needs the revenues of the oil fields to rebuild the country.

BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:50 P.M.) – A video has just been released on social media showing the interview of an ISIS fighter from Deir Ezzor who admits that the terrorist group’s forces in the region are forbidden by their commanders from attacking US-backed, Kurdish-led militias.
The interviewee, Mohammed Moussa al-Shawwakh, says that his group, tasked with defending the area around the Conoco Gas Fields, was ordered to allow Kurdish forces to enter the strategic site. The order, he says, came from a top regional emir (leader) called Abu Zaid.
The ISIS fighter’s confession goes on to mention that Kurdish-led forces were also allowed to enter other gas and oil fields in the region in order to make propaganda videos.

The US-led coalition is underreporting the civilian casualty figures in Syria, the deputy director of terrorism and counterterrorism division at Human Rights Watch has told RT, criticizing the US's secretive and insufficient self-investigation methods.

On Sunday, Human Rights Watch (HRW) revealed that the US-led coalition fighting Islamic State in Syria killed at least 84 civilians, including 30 children, when it carried out two lethal airstrikes near Raqqa in March. The US-led coalition, however, insists that there was no civilians present at the time of the attacks.

Russian Engineers Built Bridge for Syrian Army Across the Euphrates Under Shelling
Russian army engineers have built temporary bridge over the Euphrates at Deir Ezzor to help the Syrian army in the race for eastern Syria against US-backed SDF. Moreover they did so while under attack by ISIS shelling and mini drones:
The MARM small motorway panel bridge was erected in less than two days under continuous shelling, Head of the Russian Defense Ministry’s Road Service Vladimir Burovtsev told reporters.
"Unmanned aerial vehicles were used. Explosive substances and grenades were falling on us from the air during the installation work. However, we have no losses. No injured or affected. Everything was erected in the set terms," he specified.
The Russians say the bridge could theoretically allow 8,000 cars to cross per day, and can support even the heaviest vehicles including tanks:
Ahead of the bridge’s construction, only the advance detachments of the Syrian army crossed the river with the use of pontoons. Now the main government forces are preparing for mass crossing of the Euphrates.

You were going to say 'As stupid as I am, . . .'??
That is why I made the thread, because the fuktards on this site didn't seem to know what was going on in Syria. Once Putin started kicking the ass of the US proxy ISIS it was downright hostile to show what was actually happening. Prior to that the only time it was mentioned was when Israel did some cross border terrorist activity. Once a few IAF planes were splashed that kind of activity ended and there was even less reason to have Syria mentioned.
That about sums it up.

The photographs that the Russian Defense Ministry published on Sunday on its Facebook page provide compelling evidence that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the US troops that support them are present in Syria's areas held by the violent extremist group Daesh, the ministry said Monday.
( photos: https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201709241057647972-russia-mod-daesh-deir-ez-zor/ )
Russian Defense Ministry's spokesman Mj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said Monday that Moscow received no response from the United States or the SDF on the issue of the photographs' revelation by Russia.

"No explanations or refutations on the issue from the representatives of the SDF or the US Armed Forces followed," he stressed.

The photos in question show US Hummer armored vehicles that are used by the US Army's special forces in the Deir ez-Zor area. The Defense Ministry said the footage clearly showed that the units of US Army's special forces were deployed in the footholds previously set up by Daesh militants. Speaking on Monday, Konashenkov stressed that the pictures indicated that Daesh terrorists didn't fight against US personnel in the area, citing the absence of shell craters and the signs of airstrikes in the area.
