I am not disagreeing with you Colpy, but making guns harder or more expensive to access is a double edged sword.
If you have a single mom, for example - with an estranged, murderous ex that is defying restraining orders and she has her hands full paying for a low end 38 revolver or 9mm - making ownership more difficult for a person like that serves nobody...except the snivellers that think disarming everyone is the answer I suppose...
Hmmm...but this is Canada! I'm sure we could come up with a government grant to put on a free training session for these people......we just have to use the right language.....
They are, after all, "disadvantaged single Moms" oppressed by the larger patriarchal society, unable to completely guarantee their security of person, unable to maintain control over their own bodies....
