Doug Ford’s daughter is opening up her own storefront bakery in July.

Kyla Ford has found success with her online bakeshop, KyKy Kookies, which is based on her nickname, and figured she’d go a step further and see what she can do with old-fashioned, brick and mortar.

Since 2018, she’s been selling the giant kookies – which, according to her website, are about “four times the size of an average cookie” with each one weighing over six ounces.

Next to a photo of a jacked Ford, the baker shares that she spends her free time “working out and cooking up healthy meals” because “if you are going to have a treat, it’s gotta be worth it!”

Kookie flavours include Karrot Kake, Blueberry Krumble, Birthday Kake, Gimme S’MORE, Ooey Gooey Butter Tart and an Everything one that’s loaded with oatmeal, toffee, white chocolate and more. Um, yes, please.

There are also vegan options, and if her website’s logo isn’t lying, KyKy’s storefront location will also feature ice cream.

Ford explains how her passion for baked goods came about: “a hobby to try and perfect the BEST cookie.” After many test batches, she came up with the “kookie.”

It’s described as “crispy on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside, with a variety of unique flavours, various delicious mix-ins throughout, and stuffed with handmade fillings.”

They’re also baked with the finest quality ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible.

“When you are enjoying your Kookies, you are not only supporting a female-owned, small business based out of Ontario, Canada, you are also supporting a number of other Ontario-owned businesses.”

KyKy’s kookies start at $5 each. A box of a half dozen of their signature flavours is $33, while an assorted dozen costs $72.

The store will be located at 195 Norseman St. in Etobicoke and is set to open in a few weeks.

Doug Ford’s daughter has had her first hiccup as a small business owner.

As Kyla Ford gears up to open her storefront bakery, she’s learning that things don’t always run as smoothly as the chocolate in her cookies.

The complaint? The name of her store.

For years, Ford’s online bakeshop has been known as KyKy’s Kookies; Kyla may be her name but KyKy is her longtime nickname.

One Sun commenter said what many were apparently thinking: “KKKookies was an ill advised name.”

It’s a stretch, sure, but our eyes can’t help but focus on those capital letters so it’s understandable how some could have an issue with it.

“The name is a play on my nickname ‘KyKy’. That’s it,” Ford told Narcity.

“I’ve never made or would make that connection and it’s heartbreaking to me that some people online are doing that.”

She confirmed that the name has been changed to KyKy’s Cookies and Ice Cream.

Similar to how Kim Kardashian (coincidentally, another name with a lot of Ks) had to change the name of her shapewear line from Kimono to SKIMS, after being criticized for cultural appropriation, Ford’s goes a step further with the visual link to the white supremacist hate group — something she likely doesn’t want herself or her shop to be associated with.

Ford’s store is still set to open in July in Etobicoke, Ont., where it will feature her massive stuffed cookies, ice cream sandwiches and all kinds of goodies.

Ford?
;)
It'll be Kookies.

Though after seeing what biden did to the price of Insulin, and knowing the cost of which is also breaking the Ontario healthcare system, with a little forethought, it could just as well be Killing Kids Kwickly I guess.

She does have that kwickid kwitch klook to her though.

BTW, like coin machine laundromats, this is a Klassick "sugar daddy" money laundering type op too.
