The Washington Post hosts a circle jerk and we are supposed to believe it. Perhaps Americans are just better at hiding the racist attitudes. They all tell you they believe in freedom but that is also just an act.

So, is it possible all those whiny non-whites for the last fifty years have had a positive effect?

Naaaaaaah. . .

Probably the whinny whites have had more effect. Good chance where you grew up has an effect on your attitude as well. I grew up in a logging camp and although mostly white nearly all of Europe was represented there and the space is just too small to fight about trivial things. You were either good at your job or you were not. Trees and rigging are much like fire, they kill indiscriminately.
One thing though, all the derogatory terms I know for different nationalities I learned from their European neighbours. None of them were invented by us.

I believe both the u.s. and canada are much less racist than most of the rest of the world, who
are not multi cultural like we are.

I've noticed in my lifetime, that the immigrants who came into my life, were much more narrow mined
about other races than I have ever even thought of being, just because we grew up amongst many
other nationalities, who lived close around in the same city, and some who became my family.

Even my own mother, who came here as a child still held many narrow opinions she learned from her
parents, and held onto thru her life, and I at times argued with her because of those views.

No, but I could because I'm white enough.
You need to live in Toronto a while.

O.K. there white bread..

Texas is not a racist state.. they are very open to illegal immigrants and give illegals free education.. sure they want Christmas, stop late term abortion, and Christian values (which I agree too 110%).. they are very open to immigration..

You want to bash Arizona, knock yourself out.. but do not Fukk With Texas

It takes all kinds and I am sure there are mainly educated non racist people in Texas and Arizona. I would have to say Arizona is the one that is systemically racist.
The systemic insinuation of religious doctrine upon so called free citizens is another matter which is turning the US of A into a theocracy just like Iran. In 'God' they trust.
Spare me the totalitarian rant.

Seriously, and I promise I will be respectful and non-sarcastic for as long as this conversation continues. . .

What Christian values do you agree with and how do you want them enforced?

Trying to label a people as to racial prejudice is rather silly. It has more to do with
the social condition and the concentration or a particular group either minority or
majority. Let me explain.
America is made up of a diverse group of people. Where you have a large group
of whites and a large minority of a particular race there could be problems. Again
you have a large group of Black or Hispanics with a large minority of whites and
again you have problems.
Now put that into perspective with say India for example. The Southeast Asian
population largely is made up of different peoples within the India itself. There
are cultural, racial and religious differences. They also have a Caste System
which lends itself to a bully system and and a prejudice of its own kind.
There are racial problems wherever there are mixed races and when the folks
are all the same the prejudice is cultural and religious.
It just demonstrates that people have not matured much over the centuries.
