I and many others have observed a relation between the eclipse, particularly the solar eclipse, and the occurrence of earthquakes in the regions neighboring the regions seeing the total solar eclipse.
This occurred following the total solar eclipse of 1999, when many strong earthquakes happened in Turkey, Europe and might be some other places and countries as I remember.

So if this is true, which I don't hope, there may occur some major earthquakes in America in the regions parallel to the regions seeing the total eclipse of Aug 21 2017; and if such observation is wrong then nothing may occur, so we will wait and see (if God gives us respite of life till that date.)

Today a strong earthquake occurred in China, while yesterday there was a partial lunar eclipse which may not have any influence on the earthquake, and this may have occurred by chance.

But the serious thing is the total solar eclipse of America on Aug 21 2017

=============================================================

When we study carefully this map from NASA, we see:

1- This eclipse will be confined to the USA and not to any other country.

2- The blue band is the region that will see the total solar eclipse, while the neighboring regions will see the partial eclipse.
3- The dangerous regions (of the anticipated major earthquakes) may be the regions parallel to this blue band.
4- This is based on the observation of the earthquakes that followed the total earthquake of 1999.
5- There have been a large number of weak earthquakes even in the New York region and other regions like the Yellowstone region, in the previous months.
6- I hope this postulation is wrong, and there will not be any major earthquake here or elsewhere.

7- If this proves true, then it indicates the influence of the decreased gravity influence of the sun on that region of the earth because of the occlusion of the region of the total eclipse by the moon shadow,

and the increased influence of sun gravity on the neighboring regions, because such regions will be uncovered by the moon shadow and will be under direct effect of the sun gravity.

8- Such earthquakes may occur few days following the occurrence of the total solar eclipse.

God is the All-Knowing.

Saturn and Mercury and the rest of stars and planets have no influence on man and nature; they are planets and stars created and subjected by God Almighty, and they have their destined end when their life will finish.
Moreover, it is only God Who knows the fore-future and the unknown.

No peeking: Scientists say solar specs needed to view total eclipse

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — With the total solar eclipse right around the cosmic corner, eye doctors are going into nagging overdrive.
They say mom was right: You can damage your eyes staring at the sun, even the slimmest sliver of it.
So it’s time to rustle up special eclipse eyewear to use Aug. 21, when the U.S. has its first full solar eclipse spanning coast to coast in 99 years.
“We have an opportunity to experience a spectacular natural phenomenon, and we can enjoy it with some simple protection. But if you don’t use that protection, you’ll be paying for it for the rest of your life,” says Dr. Paul Sternberg, director of the Vanderbilt Eye Institute in Nashville, smack dab in the middle of the total eclipse path.
No peeking, for example, without eclipse glasses or other certified filters except during the two minutes or so when the moon completely blots out the sun, called totality. That’s the only time it’s safe to view the eclipse without protection. When totality is ending, then it’s time to put them back on.
To be clear, totality means 100 per cent of the sun is covered. That will occur only along a narrow strip stretching from Oregon, through the Midwestern plains, down to South Carolina. The rest of the U.S. gets a partial eclipse that extends into Canada and to the top of South America.
So it’s important to know exactly where you are on eclipse day in relation to that path of totality, advises Dr. B. Ralph Chou, a retired professor of optometry at the University of Waterloo in Ontario who is also an astronomer and eclipse chaser. He’ll be in Oregon for his 19th total solar eclipse.
“Unfortunately, when it comes to safety with a solar eclipse, 99.9 per cent coverage means a 0.1 per cent area of the sun that is still uncovered and is every bit as dangerous,” Chou said.
For example, Boise, Idaho, will see 99 per cent sun coverage; Omaha, Nebraska, 98 per cent; Savannah, Georgia, 97 per cent; and Memphis, Tennessee, 94 per cent. So for those cities — and anywhere else with a partial eclipse — you need to keep those solar specs on the whole time.
What can happen when you look directly at the sun? You’re essentially cooking your retina, the delicate, light-sensitive tissue deep inside the eyeball. Solar radiation can kill those cells. Hours can pass before you realize the extent of the damage.
It’s known in the trade as solar blindness or solar retinopathy — not total blindness, rather more like age-related macular degeneration, where you have trouble reading or recognizing faces, or lose those abilities altogether.
Seconds are enough for retinal sunburn. And unlike with the skin, you can’t feel it. The damage can be temporary or permanent.
“It’s really important to resist the urge to look even momentarily, directly in the sun because you have no real sense of time,” says Dr. Christopher Quinn, president of the American Optometric Association. “What you think may be a glancing look could be a more substantial amount of time, and that can result in permanent damage.”
Forget sunglasses. Certified eclipse glasses or hand-held viewers are a must for direct viewing. Or you can look indirectly with a pinhole projector — homemade will do, crafted from a shoebox, or grab a kitchen colander — that casts images of the eclipsed sun onto a screen at least 3 feet away.
When it comes to eyewear, though, the emphasis is on certified.
Worried about potentially dangerous knockoffs, NASA, the American Astronomical Society and others are urging eclipse watchers to stick with reputable makers of sun-gazing devices. The society’s solar eclipse task force has put out a list of approved manufacturers.
Don’t use eclipse glasses with filters that are crumpled, scratched or torn. If you can see any light besides the sun, it’s time for new solar specs. Also beware if the eclipse glasses are older than 2015, when international safety standards were adopted.
Eclipse glasses can be worn directly over your prescription glasses or with contacts. As for binoculars, telescopes and cameras, high-quality solar filters are essential and must be mounted at the front end.
Chou collected and studied 20 reports of temporary eye injuries following a 1979 total solar eclipse that included Canada. Males under age 20 were found to be particularly susceptible; they tended to ignore safety warnings, he said.
In 1999, British doctors reported 70 cases of temporary eye damage following a full solar eclipse. Most cases involved no or inadequate eye protection and many were from spots with a partial eclipse, just shy of a full one.
Chou stresses that outside the path of totality, where there’s only a partial eclipse, “it’s never safe to take the filters off.”

Eclipse chasers gearing up for solar show on Monday
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
First posted: Tuesday, August 15, 2017 10:05 AM EDT | Updated: Tuesday, August 15, 2017 10:18 AM EDT
SALT LAKE CITY — People who call themselves “eclipse chasers” are giddy about the upcoming solar eclipse, including a man who has seen five of them in his lifetime and calls himself an “eclipse-o-maniac.”
On the morning of Aug. 21, millions of Americans are expected to be on the move, hoping to see a total eclipse of the sun.
Utah’s best-known sky watcher, Patrick Wiggins, has collected souvenir T-shirts at solar eclipses all over the world. With five total solar eclipses under his belt, some might say he’s a nut for a show that lasts just more than two minutes.
“An eclipse-o-maniac, they call it,” Wiggins said. “It gets in your blood, and the next thing you know you’re spending way more money than you probably should. And you’re going to far-flung places on the planet.”
Several eclipse chasers were in attendance at a recent meeting of the Salt Lake Astronomical Society, the Desert News reported .
The solar eclipse, the period when the moon completely hides the sun, on Aug. 21 has been billed as “The Great American Eclipse.” It will cross the country coast-to-coast from Oregon to South Carolina. It will be the best eclipse for Americans in 99 years.
To see the solar eclipse in its totality, a viewer must be inside a 60- to 70-mile-wide zone of totality that crosses 14 states including Idaho and Wyoming. Many Utah residents are expected to drive to Idaho and Wyoming.
“With millions of people within a three-hour driving distance of this eclipse, this is going to be the most observed eclipse in history,” said Siegfried Jachmann, a past president of the Salt Lake Astronomical Society.
Another former society president, Lowell Lyon, saw one of his two total eclipses in Mexico.
“The minute totality started, it was like the cheer of a hometown touchdown at a football game,” Lyon said. “Everybody screamed and yelled.”
During the period of totality, observers sometime see solar prominences, huge blasts of fiery energy leaping from the sun’s surface.
“Right at the very edge of the moon, you can see prominences from the sun, which are very beautiful,” said Joe Bauman, Salt Lake Astronomical Society vice-president, who has seen five total eclipses. “And everybody has always had awe, gasped and almost cried; people have been so moved by it. It’s the most stunning natural phenomenon you can see.”
For those who do go all the way to central Idaho or Wyoming, totality will be just after 11:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 21.

Really?? That would explain all the chatter about this being the trigger or tipping point for some very big events involving war machines. The 2nd coming (false version) is tied to these sorts of events. Real history and recorded history don't have to match on the ground as the books will say what they want them to say. I can see a lot of crap attached to a coming event just because they have the date of His birth wrong.

December 26, 2019 — Annular Solar Eclipse

The Dec.25 date is based on the birth in the manger and harvest time is when the taxes are paid and that is more like Sept.25. Anything different is 'false'. Plans made around that date when using the date of conception as the date to celebrate arrives at that date by counting back months from that date the manger birth took place, Dec.25 (give or take). If they don't consider that they could be playing right into God's plans for them, a quick trip to the wrong side of the grave, and then a long chat follows just to make it worse.

How to avoid the wrong kind of shady when it comes to solar eclipse glasses
MARY GAZZE and LUCAS TIMMONS, CANADIAN PRESS
First posted: Wednesday, August 16, 2017 01:39 PM EDT | Updated: Wednesday, August 16, 2017 01:46 PM EDT
As excitement on social media about the Aug. 21 solar eclipse heats up, experts are urging people to take good care of their eyes when they enjoy the spectacle in Canadian skies.
Ralph Chou, a University of Waterloo optometry professor and president of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, says that staring at the sun for more than a few seconds will cause harm. He says the eye feels no pain so it will be too late to look away from potential retina-burning solar rays before a person notices they’ve done potentially-permanent damage.
“The problem with the back of the eye is that there’s no pain sensors, so all this damage can occur without you even knowing about it until it’s far too late ... the next morning they wake up and the photo receptors at the very centre of their vision are damaged and they suddenly realize they can’t see their faces in the bathroom mirror,” he said. The person will have to wait an anxious three months to know whether the damage is permanent, Chou said.
Regular sunglasses just won’t cut it during the direct viewing for an eclipse because they allow in thousands of times more sunlight than is safe to reach your eyes. NASA says special solar eclipse glasses should be marked with the “ISO 12312-2” international safety standard on the label. Make sure there are no scratches on the lenses.
These glasses cost only a few dollars but are becoming hard to find as we inch closer to eclipse date.
This week, Amazon pulled potentially shady glasses from its site and issued refunds to customers who had already purchased them. In an email to buyers, the company said it could not get confirmation from the supplier that the glasses came from a recommended manufacturer.
“We recommend that you DO NOT use this product to view the sun or the eclipse,” the email said.
The American Astronomical Society has a list of reputable sellers of solar eclipse glasses on its website. The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, some universities and science centres will be distributing free eclipse glasses at viewing parties across Canada. Science museums and stores that sell telescopes may also have stock left.
With ads for eclipse glasses for sale on Kijiji and social media it can be hard for armchair astronomers to track down where they were made and whether they meet the standards recommended by NASA.
The Canadian Press asked the University of Toronto to test two pairs of eclipse glasses using an ellipsometer. The machine sends a wave of UV and visible light though the glasses’ lens and uses a sensor to measure how much of the light makes it through.
The first pair, bought at one of the stores on the American Astronomical Society list, blocked out more than 99.9 per cent of UV and visible light. The pair was labelled as conforming to the ISO 12312-2 standards for direct observation of the sun.
The second pair, purchased online did not have the ISO mark and did not perform as well. It let through more than 0.1 per cent of visible and UV light.
The ISO standard allows a maximum of 0.0032 per cent of light to be allowed to pass though. The equipment used could not give a sensitive enough reading to verify if the glasses conformed to the standard.
In both cases, the machine was not able to determine if the glasses met the ISO 12312-2 standard. Both pairs did let through less than one one-thousandth of the light that you’d see with the naked eye.
“Results show us that the two sets of glasses are most likely safe for observing the sun,” said Herman Wong, a University of Toronto engineering and photonics PhD student who tested the glasses. He said the machine found that there was almost zero transmission of light that passed through the lenses, but added that there’s really no way to know if they meet NASA recommendations, especially if they are not labelled.
“They are not standardized by any means so use at your own risk,” he said.
Chou, who has travelled as far as Africa and Asia to view more than 25 eclipses in person, says you shouldn’t let fear deter you from enjoying the event as long as you take precautions. He said an eclipse looks different every time depending on the sun’s flames that day.
“When you see the sun disappear and the corona pop out into view it is a really awe-inspiring sight. Even for a lot of us scientists ... we all get that sort of emotional rush of seeing the corona because it’s really awe inspiring,” he said.
“This is sort of the giant astronomical clock at work and it’s just the way the universe ticks, or at least the solar system ticks as you see the movement of the earth around the sun.”

Really?? That would explain all the chatter about this being the trigger or tipping point for some very big events involving war machines.

Now, if any natural catastrophe happens, all parties and sects may exploit it to their side, and that God is wrathful with people because they do not follow their program!

On the other hand, it is true that it is God's wrath .. because truly people have contradicted all God's commandments.
Or else God could have prevented the occurrence of that natural catastrophe.

For this reason, it may be useless to bring about anything like that .. because it cannot indicate the truthfulness of any sect or party .. unless there is the challenge and the clear call .. like that of Prophet Elia and the false prophets of the Baal.

Elia challenged the false prophets (priests) of the idol Baal .. such challenge was done before people and it was a clear call .. so that when the fire came down from heaven .. it clearly indicated the truthfulness of Elia.
Moses clearly called to Pharaoh and his people .. if they do not release the Children of Israel .. so and so will happen .. then when the plagues occurred that was a clear indication of the truthfulness of Moses.

While if an eclipse occurs, will it indicate the truthfulness of which party or sect?

Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler will celebrate next week’s solar eclipse by performing her hit Total Eclipse Of The Heart on a cruise ship.
Americans will be able to check out their first total solar eclipse since 1979 on Monday, and Bonnie will mark the occasion on board the Royal Caribbean’s week-long Total Eclipse cruise.
She’ll belt out the 1983 hit just as the astronomical event becomes visible, with Joe Jonas’ DNCE as her backing band at “the optimal spot at sea” to view the full eclipse, which will last a little over two minutes and 40 seconds.

Of course Muslims are not exempted from God's punishment, if they become enthusiastic about the imams and sheikhs, just like Jews and Christians.

Moreover, the punishment in the life of the World may come quickly to Muslims, while for others they may be given respite and become prosperous in the life of the World, while in the Next Life they will be losers.
In a hadith of Prophet Mohammed - salam to him:

"The life of the World is the paradise of the disbeliever and the Hell of the believer,
and the Next Life is the paradise of the believer and the Hell of the disbeliever."

It means: the disbeliever receives his reward in the life of the World for some of his good work, but will be a loser in the Next Life.

NASA announced that nothing may happen before or after the coming total eclipse.

I say, as I witnessed the total eclipse of 1999 in Iraq, nothing of importance may be before or during the eclipse, but there had been many major earthquakes that occurred in the following days in many countries.

So some earthquakes or eruptions may occur in the regions neighboring the zone of the total eclipse.

Therefore, if some major earthquakes occur in the days following the eclipse, then my postulation is correct; and if nothing occurs, then my idea is wrong (as I hope.)

Sold out! Demand eclipses supply for protective glasses for safely watching solar eclipse

TORONTO — Ali Van Orman is still looking for specialized glasses to protect her family’s eyes during Monday’s solar eclipse because she never counted on demand totally eclipsing supply.
She tried to buy a coveted pair of solar eclipse glasses for herself and two children from Amazon back in July, but the hot commodities wouldn’t have arrived in time.
Van Orman and many others are turning to social media to try to track down retailers that still have the glasses in stock. As of Thursday, supplies had dwindled in stores across Canada. Inventory status reports on the websites for Best Buy and Toys “R” Us showed the devices, which cost about $3, were sold out in many cities.
“There’s a little toy store here in Calgary. I called them and they said ‘no, you are the 50th person that’s phoned us,”’ Van Orman said.
“It’s just one of those great things that I wish that I had done earlier,” she said, adding that she will investigate other options such as a pinhole camera or welding goggles. Optometrists have said that watching the eclipse without certified protection could lead to permanent vision loss.
Early birds who snapped up extra pairs before the rush are selling them for up to $40 on Kijiji.
Andy Kahrmann, spokesman for Vancouver-based pharmacy retailer London Drugs, said the chain sold thousands of pairs and B.C.’s Lower Mainland and Saskatchewan were the first to sell out.
“I personally didn’t even get a pair of glasses. We sold everything we had,” he said.
“A couple of speciality magazines were including viewing glasses inside the magazines. Those are even sold out.”
He said the chain ordered double the amount of glasses it thought it would need, but that still wasn’t enough to meet demand. The glasses didn’t sell at first, he added, and by the time sales picked up, it was too late to re-order from the manufacturer, one of the more popular companies listed by the American Astronomical Society as a reputable supplier.
This week, Amazon issued refunds to customers who had bought potentially-shady solar eclipse glasses on its site, saying it could not confirm that glasses came from a recommended manufacturer.
“We recommend that you DO NOT use this product to view the sun or the eclipse,” the refund email said. With an online retail giant out of the picture, supply is even more strained.
Canada will only get a partial eclipse, with 90 per cent of the sun covered in Victoria, to just 31 per cent coverage in St. John’s. But stores in U.S. regions where the sun will be more covered sold out a week ago. One planetarium in Utah sold 21,000 pairs in a single day.
Some universities and science museums in Canada will be distributing the glasses for free at viewing parties across the country on Monday. If you can’t get a hold of glasses, NASA’s website recommends other ways to view the eclipse safely.

Eclipse so bright, gotta wear special shades

Unless you’ve been living in a dark cave, by now you’ve heard about the solar eclipse on Monday.
The day will turn into night in many places across North America, as the moon shrouds the sun, and precautions are needed for the big celestial event.
Don’t get burned!
For the vast majority of individuals, it is unsafe to view a solar eclipse with the naked eye, warns Dr. Chad Andrews. Your dark-tinted sunglasses won’t protect you!
Although “Canadians will be viewing a partial solar eclipse, where a small sliver of the sun is still visible, this can cause permanent damage to their eyes by looking at the eclipse without the appropriate protection. Even short glimpses could be dangerous!” says Andrews, manager of research and education at The Foundation Fighting Blindness (http://FFB.ca).
While millions of starry-eyed spectators, some travelling from Canada, are expected to gather for a glimpse of the total eclipse along the 70-mile-wide swath from Oregon to South Carolina, in Canada the eclipse will vary, ranging from the most coverage in Victoria at 90% to the least in Iqaluit at around 25%.
“Only those who are in the ‘path of totality,’ a narrow strip of geography circling the globe, will be able to view the eclipse without glasses, and even then only for a few minutes. Canada is outside of this zone,” says Andrews, adding that NASA has a great guide to safe eclipse viewing at http://eclipse2017.nasa.gov/safety.
Moving from west to east, part of the sun will remain visible in Canada throughout the day. Showtime in Victoria is expected in the late morning, while in the Prairies the eclipse will reach its highest point between noon and 1 p.m., in Ontario and Quebec around 2:30 p.m., and on the East Coast just before 4 p.m.
You need to wear special glasses called solar filters that meet a worldwide ISO standard: specifically ISO 12312-2. Amazon sent out a warning recently about defective knockoff glasses being sold on its site, offering refunds and removing listings. Be sure yours are approved — the American Astronomical Society has a list of brands that are safe at http://eclipse.aas.org/resources/solar-filters.
You may still be able to buy appropriate eyewear from a science centre or store, museum, or reputable astronomy group.
“A solar eclipse is an amazing thing to witness, but people have to remember that the sun emirates radiation that is invisible to us but can harm the back of our eyes,” warns Dr. Kevin Anderson, of Shoppes of Angus Glen Optometry in Markham. “Our retinas act like solar collectors and concentrate incoming light onto a sharp point on the back of our eyes. Directly staring at the sun even for only a few seconds can cause burns similar to using a magnifying lens to concentrate solar energy onto a point.”
Be sure making lifelong memories doesn’t turn into lifelong dead spots in the centre of your vision! The damage to your retina called solar retinopathy can occur without any sensation of pain, adds Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO), and the injury can be temporary or permanent.
Meanwhile, time and science have eclipsed irrational fears about these spectacles: “I remember when I was in high school there was a total solar eclipse. The school was basically put on lockdown. Nobody was allowed to leave during the eclipse or move from the main building to the portables,” says Scott Fox, host on the Z103.5 Morning Show in Toronto.
“They also had the maintenance staff paper over the windows to make sure nobody looked directly at it!” says Fox, who’s ordered special viewing glasses and will be watching from his backyard.
According to the NASA website, eclipses have always been capable of producing profound psychological effects.
“For millennia, solar eclipses have been interpreted as portents of doom by virtually every known civilization. These have stimulated responses that run the gamut from human sacrifices to feelings of awe and bewilderment. Although there are no direct physical effects involving known forces, the consequences of the induced human psychological states have indeed led to physical effects.”

If you can’t find eclipse viewers, make a pinhole projector (http://jpl.nasa.gov/edu/learn/project/how-to-make-a-pinhole-camera) to watch the eclipse.
It’s important to only watch the screen, not the sun. Never look at the sun through the pinhole.
The Canada Space Agency website (Build your own projector to watch solar eclipses safely - Canadian Space Agency) includes DIY instructions for making a pinhole viewer using only a cardboard box, white paper, scissors, aluminum foil, a pin and some tape.

MADRAS, Ore. — Authorities say two people died in a small plane crash near a central Oregon airport where people are gathering to view the solar eclipse.
The Central Oregon Emergency Information Network says the pilot and a passenger were killed in the crash about 2 p.m. Saturday about a mile south of Madras Municipal Airport. Authorities did not identify the victims.
The Federal Aviation Administration says the small plane was approaching a central Oregon airport when it crashed near where people are gathering to view the solar eclipse, the Oregonian/Oregonlive reports.
FAA spokesman Ian Gregor says the plane that crashed Saturday was a single-engine, homebuilt Wheeler Express.
The Oregonian/Oregonlive reports that the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
Campers have been gathering at the airport for Monday’s eclipse.
About 200,000 people are expected in the area that’s considered a prime viewing spot as the moon completely blots out the sun.

Quran 55: 5, which means:
{The sun and the moon are made punctual.c}
...................................................................

5 c i.e. they run their courses according to perfect calculations.

http://quran-ayat.com/pret/55.htm#a55_5
<quran-ayat.com/pret/55.htm#a55_5>

It means: the sun and moon have made to move in precise way so that their movement can be calculated and predicted for tens of years beforehand.
This is according to the great might of God Almighty, so that He made perfect His creation.

One said to me joking: The eclipse has occurred just now; they were wrong in their calculations!
Therefore, I answered him: It can't be; the eclipse will certainly occur in its due time, and I recited to him the aya just mentioned above.

This also is the amazing recitation of this great soora 55:
