throw some in with the deep fried fish batter before during or after
sprinkle onto panfried fish fillets
heat some up with butter and lemon and pour over fish or maybe even chicken
mix it into the rice
certain salads like it too
:)

it makes a nice lemon berry tasting tea and a decent berry drink if you add enough sugar

oops
I almost forgot:
I use the wild stuff because it grows very well everywhere around here
just the red droops though

the rest of the plant has other herbal uses

Yes I read this ,have you made sumac tea,blend?

Years ago.

I have a really good book on edible wild plants (Peterson Guide) and I've experimented here and there. I'm interested in what my homesteading ancestors might have subsisted on (haven't eaten squirrel or groundhog, yet though)
