Subway is crying fowl over claims that its chicken is loaded with soy fillers — this time in court.

The fast-food chain has slapped the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. with a lawsuit over an TV expose last month that claimed its chicken was only about 50-percent poultry and the rest of it soybeans, The Post has learned.

Subway’s is claiming $210 million in damages in the legal flap, blasting the soy-filler allegations from news show CBC Marketplace as “defamatory and absolutely false,” a Subway spokesman told The Post.

“Despite our efforts to share the facts with the CBC about the high quality of our chicken and to express our strong objections to their inaccurate claims, they have not issued a retraction, as we requested,” Subway said in a Thursday statement.

“Serving high-quality food to our customers is our top priority, and we are committed to seeing that this factually incorrect report is corrected.”

A copy of the lawsuit, filed in Canadian court, couldn’t immediately be obtained. A CBC spokeswoman confirmed the network has been notified of Subway’s suit but hasn’t received it and will respond if and when it does.

“We believe our journalism to be sound and there is no evidence that we’ve seen that would lead us to change our position,” CBC said.

Serving high-quality food to our customers is our top priority,
Horse pucky. There's nothing top quality about meat that has had the living bejeezus processed out of it, ie: cold cuts.
But it's hard to blame a restaurant or fast food chain anymore when our food quality is dropping anyway. Buying cheese anymore is bull****. Real cheese is becoming more and more like processed cheese as the producers reduce the milk fat and add vegetable oil.
There was a brand of ground beef we used to buy because it was pretty decent. Not anymore. The ground beef is more like meat paste now.
Then there's the grocery stores that like to engage in a little fraud. Some of them like to take expired meat off the shelf, give it a nice ice bath and then repack it as "fresh packed" that day.
Meat packers inject chicken with water to give added weight thus making you pay for water weight as well.

As the list goes on and on, even if Subway's chicken is half soy it's still not as bad as whats going on in general with our food.

Subway makes a pretty good sammich.:).

Cornwall, ON.. the Subway there has Rats in their store....

Subway girl puts on gloves to stay clean, keeps the gloves on, to ring a customer out touching money, and still keeps the same gloves on to finish the sandwich.

...and in Calgary orders a sandwich, and the meat dropped into an unclean area, and the girl picked it up and tossed it on the sandwich.. I refused the order and it was the last time I ever went to a Subway Restaurant.

At least the subway Pedofile is getting a long stretch.
