Obviously, the three young kids share a Master of Science degree, since there's only one degree mentioned.

I always felt like telling them that they should stay in school and get their master's degrees, and maybe one day they would have the wonderful experience of delivering pizzas.

This sentence in particle is what had me thinking she was complaining. You don't need a master's degree to deliver pizza. This sentence ruins the upbeat, happy to be working nights away from the hubby attitude.
