i was tolod alchohal and nicotine are must worse than cannabis (Quote from above)
I find it interesting that “Johnnny,” above quote has only 11 words and 3 of them are wrong.
My mother in law, says that Alcohol is much worse than smoking. OK, she has a valid point that the Alcoholics are very bad group, with some of them not being very nice when they drink and are very, very abusive when the drink. Not many people can say that is a nice thing. According to the stats that we hear on the TV and read, there are about 11,000, more or less, people die in Canada from Alcohol related problems. OK, that is only like, 30 a day. Reading the stats on smoking, only like 45,000 people in Canada, die from smoking related diseases. Not many, only like 123 a day. I question my mother-in-laws thoughts that alcoholics are worse than smoking, for the families. Should not 3 times the deaths from smoking have a larger effect on the remaining families that are left? The last time I checked, death was kind of permanent.
I guess the real question is why are we (the Canadian Public) so concerned about a lot of other things, and 153 people die each day, both preventable, and “NOBODY CARES.”
I have not heard or seen of any stats on cannabis so it is not an issue about deaths, but more an issue about health. Is cannabis a drug, like nicotine and alcohol that people think is harmless, but the sad effects will be known only after the next 50-100 years?
It is known in the medical profession that cannabis is linked to sterility in men and women. Hey don’t worry about that, it is better that they are out of the gene pool.
