Eeewww! Aside from being able to pee standing up, this is one of the things we should be thankful for: we can't get pregnant. I don't think this is the sort of experimentation we should be exploring.

Answer - me too. But my wife tells me that it's not so bad with a 'C' section, more like a hernia operation than 18 hours of screaming in pain before delivery. That's why 'C' sections got so popular.

I wouldn't want to promote the male carrier as a casual option, but male seahorses do it all the time, and in a similar fashion to what I just described. So it is not an "unnatural process". I'm just glad that human males are smarter than male seahorses. We just wouldn't lie still for the procedure.

Apparently, Jo's gone and eaten her thesaurus as an appetizer while waiting for the pig to finish roasting...

Yep, "roast" in that context entered my mind, too, OB.

Okay, am I off on the gender of Jo, by the way? I see the name "Jo" and automatically think "female" because of a female friend of mine from childhood who had that name with that spelling. If I'm wrong, mea culpa and I offer my apologies.

Homosexuals do, have and will continue to reproduce...therefore your position is seriously flawed. The fact that they may not prefer to comingle with the opposite sex is as you would put it....irrelevent. The point of creating a human has absolutely nothing to do with sexual preference.

What??? Sexual preference has nothing to do with reproduction?
Homosexuals do reproduce, but it isn't natural for them. Just like I, as a heterosexual male am able to mate with another male, but it is my natural instinctual desire.

Sexual preference has everything to do with reproduction. If a group's natural preference is to mate with an individual where there is no chance for creating an offspring, then it certainly has an effect of the long term survival of that group.

If a same sex couple wishes to have a child there are avenues available to do so. Which sex they prefer has nothing to do with the ability to create a child.

So the so-called moderator has thrown in the towel eh? It really wasn't much of a showing.

Are all the insincere lemmings going to follow? That tiny cesspool of liberal insanity beckons.

I hope not. Maybe someone sane sincerely wants to acknowledge the facts as truth.

Going once...twice....

Actually you haven't proven your intitial statement to be correct. Homosexuals reproduce and pass there DNA down the line.

I have responded that there is no homosexual way that the genes of homosexuals can be passed on, hence dead-enders.

Actually you haven't proven your intitial statement to be correct. As the genes come from the parents, the genes are passed down to the child, it does not make a bit of difference if that couple is straight or not.
Homosexuals reproduce and pass their DNA down the line. Not only that they are the result of hetrosexuals couples as well as homosexual couples who seek other methods of reproducing. They have produced another life. Therefore they are not a "dead end" as you so callously put it.

Answer - i smell something burning
"Doctor Penfield. I smell burnt toast!"
Dear Hogwild. Did you not read anybody's post??

You SO lost!!!

You begin to lose when you take a position that is false on the face of the facts - or premis - (known as 'prima faca' evidence). But that's alright. That is often the reality of formal debate, and a challenge for that position to overcome.

You further lose when you fail to present any facts to support your position, but instead prattle on with repeating your premis as though it is its own proof. That is just a sad example of someone who has no clue on how to debate. Nor does it show any understanding of the structure of logic

You continue to lose when you fail to respond to saliant points made by others. This fails you at following your own dictum of 'point - countrpoint'. You championed yourself as the person who would define the form that the discussion would take and then failed to follow that form - - bad form ol' chappy - -

And you ultimately lose because, not only did everybody else stomp your sorry ass into the ground, but your too much of a loser to admit it.

RE: Harper vows free vote

Personally I think it is silly to even be discussing this issue. Canada nor any other country (Belgium,Spain, Holland, South Africa) that has legalized ssm and calls it what it is, marriage has not gone to "hell" or "imploded" as many on the right predicted.

What I do not understand is how the "right" does not believe in equality for all, reguardless of sexual orientation.

Wouldn't it be better if they were to teach their children tolerance, and that prejudice, discrimmination is wrong, instead of teaching them hate?

RE: Harper vows free vote on gay marriage

I will say only one thing. The public should be requested to vote on subjects that are in regard, changing the constitution. I dont care the topic, it is fundamentally wrong for the "House" to project these kinds of things on the public. If the MP's actually voted for the people, not themselves, or their leader. These things would go drastically different. We vote them in, to speak on our behalf, not their behalf, their leaders behalf, or their party. It is not democracy when that direct line is severed from the people. Such big decisions have to be requested of the people. The former PM, and now Martin, all whipped there party like slaves from old. That is a watered down Dictatorship tactic. I have no respect for these proceedings, or even acknowledge half of the decisions that come out of that den of thieves.
