How can we fix to Christians and or conservatives an innate disregard for hungry children? There is probably some other more reasonable explanation. I suggest fear. The poor are treated as lepers.

I'm not talking about other instances in which children are made to suffer. I'm talking about the current situation the United States. It's possible that different causes have the same result in different situations.
