Throwing the abortion debate into this is apples and oranges. The donor recipient can toss the sample in the toilet if they want to. The issue is family law falls under Provincial regulation and the courts feel those turning 19 have some rights based on the same principles as adoptees.

Explain to me how they should have rights over a decision made by their parents before they were even conceived, let alone, Born...... and only after 19 years past when they were born.

Hell, maybe I should sue my parents for getting together or deciding to go see that movie they saw back in 1978 that I never liked...... yes a very loose example, but it still relates.

These people are bitching about something that was decided before they even existed as a fertilized egg..... thus their rights are somehow retro-active and long before they even existed.

The courts may have felt a certain way, but that doesn't mean they're right.
