House robbery: child bludgeoned to death, parents murdered
Farm murder: child beaten, strangled to death. Note broken nose, concussed eyes

Farm murder: Hacked to death with panga or meat cleaver. Note defensive wounds
Farm Murder: Slashed and stabbed to death, raped

House invasion: Raped, tortured, murdered by impalement with broomstick. The top
section of the broom was sharpened before insertion and rammed right through,
exiting near the neck.

Actually avro, just read the above... know you tell me you dont care about White South Africans... you heartless, evil bitch!! You deserve to go to hell with all these criminals who commit these crimes...

Meg, Avro doesn't hate Afrikaans. He's disgusted by people like Kaleb.

You're behavior here, has just repulsed me.

If you want to win our support, you might want to try and more reasoned approach.

Where I once could have had some sympathies for SA, that's rare becasue I don't really care about any country other than my own, I find myself really not giving two pieces of crap for SA now....way to go Kaleb...perhaps you can alienate everyone else here as well by calling them stupid.

Cherrio.

We dont need your sympathies Avro, just take your head out your ass and take a look around...

I think you should go back and see what precipitated that outburst.

I can empathize with the plight of Afrikaans to an extent but Meg88 claims she doesn't want sympathy and I'm a little at a loss of what people expect us to do. Our level of awareness about some of what is happening has been raised in this thread but some of the contributions are harming any attempts to gain support through their arrogance and antagonistic attitude.

Canada really has very little it can do to affect what goes on in South Africa, as was painful evident in the apartheid years. South Africa is self sufficient to a large degree, so that while sanctions may hurt a bit, they aren't much more than an annoyance. I also doubt UN involvement would do much either: a lot of nations will say this is an internal matter that South Africa needs to sort out for itself... and the reputation of whites in South Africa did suffer some pretty severe hits to credibility because of the policies of the governments, pre-Mandela and they way they played in the media here.

If things are to a point where your family feels threatened, then maybe it is time to leave it behind: bring them to Canada or move to somewhere else safer. Yes, it sucks to have to do that, but as long as you're alive, you can rebuild, whereas if you're dead and in the right, you're still dead.

ummmm canada doesnt allow south africans to claim refugee status, actually i dont think any country in the world offers refugee status to south affricans... like i said im here on a visitors visa... im not on the job shortage skill list either... im 21... i hardly have experience, i dont have a doctorate or a masters... im not sure if its because im white or because im south african that i cant claim refugee status... and guys im NOT saying that YOU guys have to do something about it, because i know its not your problem... all i wanted was to INFORM you guys... maybe get a couple of people to boycott the Soccer World Cup, maybe that would get the South African government to listen!!!

Wulfie, i can actually look past the arrogance and attitude. It's a passionate and emotional topic for them.

In the same breath, I can say that I can just as easily be turned off the topic by the same thing.

No argument with that.

CND Bear, i think this is why Avro got a little pissy...

Quoting Bar Sinister You forgot the deliberate attempt of early European settlers to exterminate the indigenous Canadian/ American/ Australian/ South American etc population, then enslaving what was left of them, followed by disenfranchising anyone with indigenous or non-European ancestry. This was all done, of course, in the name of Christianity and civilizing the native population.

The history of Canadian/ American/ Australian/ South American since about 1600 is one of continual aggression by first one group of Europeans and then another, eventually culminating in the various white governments that held power for most of the 20th century and made damned sure that anyone who wasn't white got as small a share of Canadian/ American/ Australian/ South American wealth as possible.
Sounds fimiliar - the only mistake we made here was that we did not wipe out our entire black population as we thought we could live side by side with them - not like the Canadians/ Americans/ Australians/ South Americans. An American once told me that the difference between a settler moving west in the old America and a Voortrekker (an Afrikaner settler) was that the Americans carried their rifles in front with them on the wagons and their bibles in their trunks in the back, whereas we carried our bibles in front and our rifles in the back.

Isnt is true in just a small way CNDBEAR????

I don't need a history lessen Meg, I am Native. What Bar said was the typical extremist rhetoric.

It has little basis in fact, save for the names of the players and some people died.

We don't want your sympathies guys; All we want to do is highlight the situation here so that you get a clear picture and realise/ realize that genocide is taking place against the minority groups. There are hundreds of links I can send you to to see what we have to live with, but why bother when I see that you have already made up your minds.
Julius Malema despises not only us but the entire lily white world and if you bothered to check out the news even in your country you should have seen how he has shown his true colours/ colors. (sorry, any word that I know is spelt a different way in the Americas I am giving both versions in case some of you do not understand.
Here is one link to show how a very powerful person in the ANC responds to a journalist from the BBC. Please note that the journalist is not a South African and the BBC has always been pro ANC. YouTube - Julius Malema vs the BBC
Julius Malema has been earmarked to be our next president.

Why does Malema despise you?

Even a tongue-in-cheek "we should have killed them all" or "there was nobody here" speaks volumes.
It isn't so much that Malema despises as much as he doesn't give a crap about people and concerns himself mostly with personal pleasures. The guy's a Bernie Madoff.

Like I said before, I think Helen Zille would be a vastly better person whatever color her skin is (she's a paleface).

The more power the international community gives to these undeserving bastards, the more they will abuse it.

It is a safe bet that if undeterred, Julius Malema will be another Idi Amin at best and an Emperor Bokassa at worst.

It's in their genes.

And every one of his supporters is mesmerised by every word he says and dreams of being him.
Zille doesn't stand a chance in hell.

These are some of his mesmerising quotes:

"If Zuma is corrupt, then we want him with all his corruption"

"When a woman didn’t enjoy it, she leaves early in the morning. Those who had a nice time will wait until the sun comes out, request breakfast and ask for taxi money.
"In the morning, that lady requested breakfast and taxi money. You can’t ask for money from somebody who raped you."

"We are tired of a 2/3 majority we now want a three thirds majority"

“we are a militant and radical voice” - on the youth league

"I would rather kill myself than commit suicide"

“the ANC will rule this country until the son of somebody comes back”

"She [Zille], the racist little girl, must remember that Zuma is her boss," Malema said.

I wish I could live like this and I personally know 1 white guy that lives in the same category. But he is in his mid forties and worked his ass off for it.

The article is from The City Press, a black-owned and run newspaper.
Malema says he earns R20 000-00 (about $2 700-00 per month). What he was caught out on was the fact that the government awarded his companies contracts worth R140 000 000-00 and the investigators say it's just the tip of the iceberg.
Up until now, Malema condemned anyone who found themselves in the same position.

Lord Acton said - "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men." True but I think the "Great men" bit should be altered to read "Politicians in general"

Malema lives large on R20k pay

ANC Youth League president Julius Malema owns two houses worth about R5 million and cars worth R1.2 million, on an alleged salary of R20 000 a month.

The Star newspaper today reported that Malema bought a three-bedroom property in Sandown, Johannesburg north, for R3.6 million in December.

He has another property in Polokwane for which he paid R1 million.

The report said the Sandown property was luxurious, with three bedrooms, an office, a TV room, a lounge, a pool and a large garden. It was here where Malema entertained guests at a house-warming party last year which hit headlines after a police reservist said he was assaulted by the youth league leader. This was after neighbours had complained about the unbearable noise.

Guests, it was reported, were entertained by DJ Oskido from YFM and drank Johnnie Walker Gold Label whisky, which costs about R700 a bottle, and Moët et Chandon French Champagne.

When approached for comment by The Star, Malema reacted angrily. “You and your husband and your family – that’s who you need to write about. You go away, just go away.”

The youth league spokesperson Floyd Shivambu said the paper was being nonsensical. “I think you need to rethink what you are doing. What business is this of yours? How dare you call me and ask for comment on this?”

The report quotes sources in the league who place Malema’s salary at about R20?000 per month.

As the transfer of his Sandown property went through, Malema went to a press conference wearing a Gucci suit and a Breitling watch worth about R250 000.

He also owns a black Mercedes-Benz AMG, which retails at R734 000, and reportedly drives an Aston Martin and a red Range Rover Sport.

He attended a Wits University lecture yesterday in a brand-new white Range Rover – with no number plates – which sells for R1.2 million.

The controversial youth league president, who is spearheading efforts for the nationalisation of South African mines, is the director of four companies according to the report: 101 Junjus Trading CC, Blue Nightingale Trading 61, Ever Roaring Investment and SGL Engineering Projects.
