I'm guessing that's a "yes, there has been oil-drilling in the area". So, how can they tell the quakes there are caused by potash ops and not oil ops?

Look into what a potash solution mine is and you'll understand the potash quakes. 114000 (36,000 frakked) wells without issues kinda ruins the quake and bad water from frakking malarkey.
