Rory Meeks, 55, of Marion, was convicted on March 8 after a three-day trial in federal court in Cedar Rapids of one count of conspiracy to manufacture marijuana. He was acquitted of one count of manufacturing marijuana in April 2011.

Legal beagles have comical terms. "Manufacturing" marijuana? The dude had an assembly "plant" going? (Sorry bout the pun, couldn't resist) Wifey keeps busy "manufacturing" chickens, fruit, flowers, veggies, etc. We "manufactured" a pair of kids. lmao
That's right up there with "speed was a factor". Usually when collisions occur, some velocities were involved, otherwise no movement occurs and hence, no collision.
