How much is that basic income for Canadians supposed to be? The poor can make about $8K/yr before they have to start paying any taxes, have the tax rate on this money be set up so after you make $100k gross you pay that whole amount back. Make Canadian Banks safe havens for Canadian money. The advantage, the bank can never fail while an account in any other country is subject to turmoil in those places, such as the State locking all foreign accounts until the racketeering mess is cleaned up and that will be a long and expensive operation.
Depends on who gets to define what their fair share is. DOn't forget that any tax a business is forced to pay is simply added into the price of their product.
It's not like capitalism won't break down and fail one day. Like all the other economical systems before it. Capitalism will meet it self conflicting elements and self destroy itself.

Who will have any money to buy all the products?

Credit was put in to help capitalism from collapsing. But how long will that last?
A system only works as long as it works for the most of us. Once everything is monopolized by one. And eventually it will be , as that's the end goal of capitalism. How will a system that works for one person on earth be justifiable ?
Capitalism was fine, when it worked for most of us. But sinse the goal of it is to eventually win against everyone and take what they have, capitalism will one day self destruct.

Today 62 people own as much as the bottom half.

Even if he did, get killed. By wining the game he has essentially destroyed himself.
It's the greatest conflict within the system of capitalism. Like all systems befor it. They eventually self destroy themselves.
This has happened before. I'm not even saying capitalism is a bad system. It was much better then the one befor it.
Most likely. We are going to see a transfer of people to a new game (economical system). Where the majority feels that the system works for them.
Like kids quiting a game at the park with other friends when only one or two of the kids benefit from the rules after playing for a while.
No one wants to play a game that doesn't benefit you or that you have no chance of winning. :lol:
That's what cliffy is essentially saying.
So they pout on the side line and are a burden to the game, until enough people decide to get together and start a new game of their own.
When will that tipping point happen? Whenever our economic game system no longer benefits the majority.
That's going to happen eventually. It's a mathematical certainty over a period of time of infinity. Eventually all the wealth will work itself to the very few at the top. :lol:
And when the majority at the bottom no longer benefit they will quit the game, and go play a diffrent game.
It's all as simple as a competitive game between kids at the park. That's all it is essentially
