wherever i sit down my ars
I think Scotland would be fascinating. The history...the peoples who'd lived and died there...

1 reason I know of, is cause you're travelling. My grandparents wintered in Arizona. We were driving there. Get to see lots of interesting things when you're travelling by camper truck. Camped overnight and there was a guy travelling with lion cubs.

My sister tried to steal a jack rabbit. Nobody could figure out how she managed to get up so close as to pick it up and carry it around. I think this was the same sister who'd managed to catch herself a shrew...which wouldn't let go of her hand and so my dad had to smash it's head in while it was latched on. Good times! lol

k, well bring a 3 season tent, lots of beer, lots of bud. You will NOT be disappointed.

mountain camping

Just imagine the in between camping spots.
I'll bet the walleye fishing is good there. I hear walleye is a good eating fish when fried.

Vernon, B.C.
I'm too busy to visit but if and when the dust settles I'v always wanted to pack the truck and take off, my oldest son lives in Burnaby with my twin granddaughters, someday soon I hope to visit.

Wait for summer Beav- Burnaby was a long rainy season, generally ends around May 1. :)

Better yet enter googleearth's flight simulator and fly the valleys and towns.
google earth has made if possible to visit so many amazing places...but it's still not the same as being there. There will never be a camping similator that will be as good as the real thing.

the smell of the fire, the sound of the birds at various spots in the trees all around. The ravens' saying good morning to each other. Or the noise they make when they see tents set up and they chatter to each other about it.

DB, don't wait too long. Time is fleeting and it's not predictable. Visit even if it's only for a day or 2. Seriously, you don't have as much time as you think.

You need to hit the prairies and parts of central Canada for walleye.
Nope, we have them here in BC too. Seems they are from Quebec to BC right across the provinces.

I never knew.

Appreciate the clarification

I didn't know until today either. I thought walleye was some kind of ground fish...

We all learned something today...not that I'll ever get the opportunity to use this info again...lol

Downtown you have the mountain holding the cloud..

I loved living in Langley, BC..

yes. I think that's why people think that it does nothing but rain here. North Vancouver has rain alot.

Surrey is called sunny surrey for a reason.

Langley is very very nice. I love driving through the farming areas near Campbell Valley Park...so beautiful.
