Tell why are all the howls of dersion regarding Gaza are directed at Israel? Eygpt seems be considered a fair & courteous neighbour, even though they have a closed border with Gaza & have active efforts to stop Palestinian tunnelling. Seems to me Eygpt is as guilty of what Israel is being accused of if not more so seeing as the Palestinians are the Eygptian's "brethern"
How about a few words for the 33 nations that said the Arabs would suffer nothing by the creation of Israel. The blood of all the Arabs killed or made refugees in on their plate, when is somebody going to mention that fact. Canada is certainly a liar in that respect.

"F. ADMISSION TO MEMBERSHIP IN THE UNITED NATIONS
When the independence of either the Arab or the Jewish State as envisaged in this plan has become effective and the declaration and undertaking, as envisaged in this plan, have been signed by either of them, sympathetic consideration should be given to its application for admission to membership in the United Nations in accordance with article 4 of the Charter of the United Nations. "

In the 70 some years since this document came into force how many times had the court heard any complaint from the People of either occupied territory. A quick check of the court records show a grand total of ZERO times they were 'allowed' to petition the Courts. Even in a Israeli Court when the win a case that results in a decision in the favor of Hamas the verdict is never carried out because the Court will not enforce their own ruling over the wishes of whoever determined the location of the wall.

"Any dispute relating to the application or the interpretation of the undertaking and any treaty issuing there from shall be referred, at the request of either party, to the International Court Of Justice, unless the parties agree to another mode of settlement."

If Egypt's government ever defied Israel, the bribe money would dry up:
...The US has provided Egypt with $1.3 billion a year in military aid since 1979, and an average of $815 million a year in economic assistance. All told, Egypt has received over $50 billion in US largesse since 1975.The money is seen as bolstering Egypt's stability, support for US policies in the region, US access to the Suez Canal, and peace with Israel....
$50 billion later, taking stock of US aid to Egypt / The Christian Science Monitor - CSMonitor.com
American politicians who criticize Israel or question US support for Israel have short careers:

A Conservative Estimate of Total Direct U.S. Aid to Israel: Almost $114 Billion
http://wrmea.org/component/content/...rect-us-aid-to-israel-almost-114-billion.html

As a result, US policy supports Israel's blockade and all the resulting suffering.

So yes Egyptian and Israeli leaders are equally guilty for Gaza's suffering, but Israel is calling the shots in the US and as a result, in Egypt as far as Gaza is concerned. That's why activists are targetting Israel and the US, rather than Egypt.

The answer is very simple, the people of Gaza must stop anyone from attacking Israeli military, civilians etc. Only then can they prove that they can be trusted to make a more long term permanent solution with. It has always been shots/rockets fired from Palestinian positions that have triggered a Israeli response. Israel has never been the first one to break a treaty that they made with anyone. Keeping peace with Egypt is of benefit to the world, the Suez must remain open for shipping.
