^^ sure glad that azzhole died, good riddance to useless rubbish eh.

Now if could only get rid of that selfie azzhole, we might have a chance to reduce the debt and lower taxes.

With an attitude like that, who'll oay taxes once your ilk will have murdered half the population?

Wasn't the leaders of Canada that changed his minds, it was the Governors of the border states worried about losing the 9 million jobs that would be lost if NAFTA was cancelled. Canada did much better without Free Trade and NAFTA, the only winners were multi-national corporations that moved jobs to cheaper labour. Canadian should nationalize our oil and kick out the US Corporations.. sell to China and the EU.

Time to cut the umbilical cord.

Another nor that has turned commie.Nationalizing resources Developement and extraction means government involvement in management of the producing companies. WHich leaves them open to political hankypanky and patronage. The provinces already own the resourses, all that is required is to tax exports appropriately.
The smart thing would be to free Canadians from world commodity prices

Um, Canada may very well have the resources other countries want, but if the eco warriors

have their way, we won't be able to exploit them for our benefit because they want them to stay in the ground. Then what?

Just askin....

When unemployment goes up and people want jobs, eco warriors will be just a fart in a wind storm

From what I know about it (which isn't much) I don't see it as a good idea. Years ago when I was doing some shopping in the U.S. I wasn't charged any duty on stuff made in the U.S. or Mexico. At the time I thought that was a good thing.

Its not that easy to do in the wake of international trade. Canada has other concerns before
NAFTA, I would like us to cancel any deal that allows police or troops from automatically
crossing the border to conduct any operation or investigation. There are exceptions though.
A forest fire that threatens citizens on either side and ambulance service to safe a life.

We also need to introduce some core principles such as not allowing companies to buy
companies and move raw logs across borders. We need to safeguard first access to our own
water and we should maintain a Canada first policy to natural resources and electricity
That would leave free trade for consumer goods let us negotiate a new agreement the Orange
Hair whatever running the White House doesn't understand there is a possibility of having TPP
without America our trade would double to the point where America would be of much less
value something else to consider in future talks

There's two aspects to shipping raw logs and one of them is the price received. We should endeavour to find out why our finished product isn't in demand. One piece of advice I would have for Trump is "benefits for Americans first" is only half of a workable equation.

What will the US do when she protects herself right out being able to export to anybody but themselves. We can bypass the US and deal with Mexico and all points south should we wish to manufacture something they are in the market for, at a competitive price.
