I think you may have just hit on a solution to that sort of problem, if you give false testimony that results in a wrongful conviction you go on the list of those eligible for the death penalty.
You really seem to have a hard on to kill people.

That still wouldn't bring back the one who was wrongfully convicted and put to death.I think you may have just hit on a solution to that sort of problem, if you give false testimony that results in a wrongful conviction you go on the list of those eligible for the death penalty.

So it's back to retribution and revenge.

I guess what your saying is have it there but make it hard to actually use? That is a good point you make. I would hazard a guess there are more people who feel the same way.I think its possible to make thé qualifying guidlines for capital punishment so strict that there is not reasonable doubt in the criminals guilt, AND there is no reasonable doubt that evidance rock solid. Once established, i say go for it.
I'm curious as to why the pro capital punishment people want to let the scum of the earth off so easily?
I just honestly and truly do not believe that that really works. Certainly not sufficiently enough to justify killing someone.I was thinking more along the lines that knowing the penalty the guy wouldn't have given false testimony and they both remain alive.
Au contraire- trying to reduce the number of unwarranted hangings.
I just honestly and truly believe that scumiest of dirtbags do not deserve to live. Give them their due process then execute them
Of course, why make em suffer for what they did, give em the easy way out.
As in keeping him alive is sufferage? What if you have evidence that phsycho killer number three doesnt see it as suffering, do you deliver daily beatings or are you open to capital punishment?
For a convicted felon, but not a civilian,Just like à 5x10 cell isnt considered torture, capital punishment would not be concidered murder.
What's that old saying?
Why do people believe that killing someone for the crime of killing someone shows that killing someone is wrong?
Pickton, Dahmer, Shoenborn red handed. A bed. Roof over the head. Three square meals a day. Hot water. Clean laundry. Television. Library use. Prison education. More than what some struggle to keep everyday honest hard working law abiding people. To put the fear back into the computer generation...gamers. People, children... look at the ages of the two that killed Kim Proctor 16 and 17 year olds..the young Virk girl beaten cigarette burnt her beat and drowned death by school mates bullying her . They are coming out more with sinister acts with no remorse. I may sound cold.
If to be to put the fear back into society yes. To be guilty as these people were red handed and DNA full admission of guilt. If my child had taken a life of an innocent girl and planned it like those two I would want the message to others their age do this you die so you better think twice about what you are planning this is not just a video game anymore here. My sister stood beside a family member
at thekids school that day a cell phone call...all that was said was oh my god its her its kimmy. These were other mothers all standing there with her watching their nightmare unfold right in front of them. So yeah to put the fear back into people. If not then when does that come back? Hollywood offers them a deal and they make money off a screen play they help write while time served? Just my opinion.
My daughter says I am old school and that is just how my generation all think. Her 25 year old boyfriend and she 21 think that it all stems from how a person was brought up how they turn out in life and act. That everyone should see a therapist . They are both against the death penalty. We debate. A lot.
