Should Canada become a World Cop?

in the direction you propose, nor does it care to have
a more international military presence on any matter

At present I have to agree with you but over the last few months I sensed a change. Guys I work with who had no interest in our military and what they do now discuss it fairly regularly. I hope this is repeating itself across the country as awareness of the present conditions may lead to more support for these types of initiatives. I proposed some fairly involved projects and don't expect them to come to fruition but at least an increase in foreign policy combined with a rejuvenated military might lead to Canada leading internationally more than following.

Canada should never hide from confrontation, but NO, Canada can't afford to play World Cop.

Way back at the beginning Gunslinger proposed NATO or ANZUS. How about Canada, Australia and similar sized countries becoming an organization of "world cops"?

Sorry I hate polls. My experience with them is someone usually has an answer first and then poses the questions to get their answer.
