what is all this talk about 2008 and the 1930's? Do you people really consider 2008 to have been that bad? My God, either you are all young as shyte or have VERY short memory's. 1982, mortgage rates went to over 20% doubling most peoples payments. 1987 saw a major market crash. 2008 was nothing.
No flip flopping there, I told you my views haven't changed. It's not what you say so much as your adversarial tone I disagree with. I've never thought the system is perfect (far from it) but you lay blame, where there is no one to blame unless it's crooked politicians.
2008 was a time of opportunity. 82/83 was good/bad. Good for people living off savings, horrible for people paying mortgages. Was '87 the year of Black Monday when T.S.X. crash 519 points in a single day? I remember that day, I rushed to buy some mutual funds only to have it crash some more. Live and learn eh!

I am apologizing for shining the light on the bad side of Cannuck , but not because I disagree so much with what he says but more for his adversarial manner in doing so which includes laying blame for everything not going his way. I apologize for bringing out his weaknesses resulting in his somewhat churlish behaviour. I am sure if you bear with Cannuck and don't tempt the little fella he'll get over it in a couple of weeks. Not as defined by you, that's for sure. Integrity to me doesn't include blaming others when things aren't going YOUR way. Anyhow I apologized for you so now run along back to your sand box.

I don't know what your point is. I told S.L.M about 200 posts back that I was largely in agreement with her O.P. and it seems you want to argue with that. You keep accusing me of lying but you won't say what I lied about! I have no reason to lie. My life is an open book from day one (except for maybe when I was in one of my drunken stupors)! I hate to say it but I think you need professional help. Seems you can't disagree with out accusing!

The little fella had a few whiner's moments here last night via the P.M. route and got a little nasty.
The high lights are covered in Post # 321. Actually I'm getting a little tired of the subject.
No doubt. Some people react like children when they have their feelings hurt. They're the kind of people that want to hit women for no good reason too.
They simply have issues.
By the looks of it, a fair portion of the active membership seems to be tired of that one particular subject.
