Over 15,000 Scientists Just Issued a 'Second Notice' to Humanity. Can We Listen Now?

https://www.commondreams.org/news/2...Second Notice' to Humanity. Can We Listen Now

But is anyone paying attention?? The "symptoms" of major catastrophic weather incidents are on the rise and are more aggressive. Is humanity just going to keep fixing the destruction. bury its dead without making changes in its lifestyle)s) so as to have a more significant effect.

Or is the back up plan just to move to;Mars after destroying this gorgeous and special planet and go about destroying Mars too?? Humanity is the cause of most of this earths problems. Maybe it is time for Humanity to stand up and take responsibility for its collective behavior.

and then there is the US (Trump) and his BACKWARD ideas about climate change. Also about restoring COAL production for continued its dirty use.

Perhaps it is a good thing that the US is losing its "influence".......... as more intelligent , progressive nations will rise and contribute more modern ideas and concept s .

I have no real opinion about AGW because the topic doesn't interest me in the least, so consequently I tune out when it comes on TV or can't be bothered to read up on the issue.

Two things I have noticed that I find interesting. The first is that every solution offered for the problem seems to need to transfer money from me to some poor sap. The second is that the biggest opponents of AGW seem to be those with their snoots buried deepest into the trough. I'm pretty sure why these two things are but I doubt I'll get anybody on either side of the debate to admit it

As is normal for you OB, you're not paying attention. This has already been posted. Six hours ago.
