Nothing to do with the topic at hand, except I wonder if the Swedish bunnies have it and therefore are no good for food; as in England. If not, surely it would not be difficult to market 6000 rabbits per year as supermarket/restaurant fare.

Meh...........don't have a cent invested. Burn the little shytes if yez feel so inclined.8O

Myxy does not affect humans that have cooked the rabbit and eaten it. If one doesn't want an infected rabbit (there are quite obvious signs of infection), then fine, burn it.

RRRRRRRRight. Thanks Anna. I always thought it could make humans sick if they eat the rabbit. Checked me facts, and you are correct.

A cousin in UK also confirms this, but says they look so crappy, one wouldn't want to eat'em........

And here's a little LOL for ya, gleaned from a Myxy forum: "no its not caught in this way by human`s
but bewair of what u have 4 breakfast ! ! ! !
stick to either brown bread or white bread or wholemeal
do not mix any of the three above or u will end up with mixamytoasties """
