In fact this attack illustrates perfectly how useless conventional weapons actually are.

Would a navy have helped the Saudis?

How about some next gen fighter aircraft?

Pretty much always did meathead
Do you have a point to make. A refinery falling apart on its own in the UK also raised the gas prices in Canada within a few hours. I call the whole deal a fukking scam and trust me when I say I don't need you acting as a confirmation dude.

Think of yourself as a refinery and me as the unstoppable drone. Anybody miss why the drones were not shot down when that is quite normal these days? Let alone that is the only target of any value hit in the whole fake war. In a real war all the refineries would be broken.

Who said camel jockeys were smart ?
You need some practice identifying the people involved. "may have cost $15,000 or less to build, said Wim Zwijnenburg, a senior researcher on drones at PAX, a Dutch peace organization."
The Netherlands is supposed to be the stronghold of the Jewish Bankers, I'm pretty sure any Muslim there is a Mossad Jew.

It is a whole new ballgame now. Even using planes as suicidal weapons. This is only the beginning of what drones will be able to do.....in warfare .

the future of flight is unmanned.

that has been obvious for many years now.

what is the purpose of having a human being pilot a craft that can be piloted far better by a machine?

What is shows is there was no attempt to stop a fake attack. That means explosives were planted first to make sure a certain (off-line) part was tapped. Syria can stop everything, maybe the KSA should just surrender to Iran and give all her oil to her.

They better let Israel take over their defense, the price, all of her oil like Canada has given the US in exchange for their protecting us from the evil nations that are out to hurt us, . . . lol..

"With $295 billion 2019 defense budget, Saudi Arabia Saturday failed to stop a drone attack on its oil installations from the Yemeni rebel rag tag militia.
According to the article,
The attacks some 500 miles from Yemeni soil not only exposed a Saudi vulnerability in the war against the Houthis, but demonstrated how relatively cheap it has become to stage such high-profile attacks. The drones used in Saturday's attack may have cost $15,000 or less to build, said Wim Zwijnenburg, a senior researcher on drones at PAX, a Dutch peace organization.
Conflict Armament Research, was quoted by the Associated Press as saying that the rebels have flown drones into the radar arrays of Saudi Arabia's Patriot missile batteries disabling them and allowing the Houthis to fire ballistic missiles into the kingdom unchallenged."
Says me:
Why do I, on the other side of the planet, have to pay more for gas if Saudi Arabias 295 BILLION dollar Patriot missile system fails?
Should Boeing, the manufacturer be responsible?
How come , if US places sanctions on Venezuela or Iran, severely reducing the worlds oil supplies, doesn't the price of fuel going up , but, only when some hick Afro camel jockeys torch an oil drum?
Wutz da deal?
Who said camel jockeys were smart ?
UAV. They used a UAV. Drones don't fly and it's a rotten misnomer.

They don't need to be smart. They just need $29K and 44lbs of explosives.

Main Features
1 "fiberglass+carbon fiber+balsa"composite material,light airframe
Structural strength, important parts increase reinforcement, corrosion, body lithe, providing enough load to carry more equipment.
2 Easy to operate an maintain
"CHILONG-4" achieves one key takeoff and semi-autonomous landing, through improvement of the intelligent system, furthest reduce the requirement for flight training, so as to enhance the operability , promotional, and stability of the product.
3 Adapt to the complex environment
"CHILONG-4" support runway taking off, taxiing landing, ejection takeoff, parachute landing, no special requirements for taking off and landing site, structural strength, strong wind resistance, can be adapted to a variety of complex environments.
4 System safety and reliable
"CHILONG-4" using technology and equipment are mature and have been through a lot of practical flight test. This model has various contingency protection measures, ensuring that even a small probability accident happen, it could use parachute landing, which does not cause major damage to the aircraft and the outside world. Such protection measures, when the plane flew over the forest land is particularly important to ensure that no aircraft accidents caused fire and other accidents.
5 Could carry a variety of mission equipment
By configuring the visible and infrared light pod, high resolution aerial cameras, communications relay and aircraft mission equipment such as radio and images, CHILONG-4 can achieve visible light, infrared real-time video surveillance, high quality aerial photography and aerial communications relay functions.
6 Auto pilot
"CHILONG-4" applies to several harsh flight environment, and support multiple flight modes in the harsh flight environment: routes, destinations, circling, posture, back home, taking off and landing, flight mode can be switched or modify in real time, adapt to a variety of missions.

Wim Zwijnenburg isn't aware of commercial UAV being readily available.

Billions spent on U.S. weapons didnt protect the Saudis most critical oil sites
The Saturday attack represented an unusually well-planned operation that would have been difficult for even the most well-equipped and experienced countries to detect and neutralize, experts said.

OB, you need to subscribe to a real news outlet. El WAPO ranks right up there with Weekly World News. Are they going to claim the Houthis and the Blowup Fish used Bat Boy as a guidance system.

Far smarter than knuckle dragging missing link simian like yourself.

Why? They are made by Raytheon not Boeing.

C-RAM is what the Saudis need to deploy along the border.

What the Hell is that? It's a land based version of the naval CIWS Phalanx.

What the Hell is a CIWS? It's a gatling gun that uses Doppler radar, FLIR and lasers for guidance. 4500 rounds per minute.

Israelis Iron Dome is a C-RAM that uses the gatling gun, small missles and an HEL (high energy laser).

It'll take out incoming RPG, mortar, missle or aircraft within its range.

It's the Jaque Plant of military goalies.

MIJI. Meaconing, Intrusion, Jamming, and Interference. I was doing it in the Air Force in the 1980s. I have to presume techniques have improved.

No, this attack illustrates one scenario in which conventional weapons were not the tool for the job.

9/11 illustrated a scenario in which civilian airliners proved unstoppable. Are you suggesting that this demonstrates that all aircraft other than civilian airliners are useless?

delusions of grandeur. Truly psych disordered. The fact is that regularly he demonstrates language and actions that are out of touch with reality. It is astonishing that anyone would take him literally.

If a family member stated talking like that.......most would say he is crazy. or
"eccentric."......as the euphemism to "explain" his behavior.
Hate to point this out but the titles were not claimed by trump himself, the Israel PM is the one that gave him those titles. It will be fun watching you prove you are not a closet anti-semite.

Don't have to imagine you as a drone since you continuously drone on, and on, and on about stupid sh*t that no one pays attention to.
