This story may be true, but then again the story is based on information from an unnamed source and doesn't provide any supporting evidence. Unnamed sources could say just about anything.
Quite.

Another possibility is this story is false and motivated by Western and Israeli interests which seek to keep the Muslim world divided and divert attention from Israel's recent humanitarian aid massacre.

Excerpt::

Saudi Arabia has conducted tests to stand down its air defences to enable Israeli jets to make a bombing raid on Iran’s nuclear facilities, The Times can reveal.
In the week that the UN Security Council imposed a new round of sanctions on Tehran, defence sources in the Gulf say that Riyadh has agreed to allow Israel to use a narrow corridor of its airspace in the north of the country to shorten the distance for a bombing run on Iran.
To ensure the Israeli bombers pass unmolested, Riyadh has carried out tests to make certain its own jets are not scrambled and missile defence systems not activated. Once the Israelis are through, the kingdom’s air defences will return to full alert.

The Saudis are not the only Middle Eastern Country who recognizes the threat a Nuclear Iran in the region could be which is why they would support an Israeli strike to remove that threat..

Bacground: This is true because the Shia and Sunni branches of Islam, represented here by Iran and Saudi Arabia respecitvely are mortal enemies. This is well known to the educated. But not say, to John McCain, the man who ran for president in the USA.

Asia, being of a mentality hundreds of years ago, the Shia and Sunni are like Catholics and Protestants in Europe hundreds of years ago when religion really meant something. Catholics could not be ruled by Protestants, this was heresy and was worth fighting and killing for.

Most of us have forgotten this religious superstition, but not in Asia, today.

I would bet that would be forgotten should somebody take any shots at that Iranian hospital ship that is with that flotilla.
