A little further digging and….I’m getting the impression that this broadcast alert over the cell phones at 6:36 AM is something way after the fact…whatever is or isn’t going on here.
We had a phone alert broadcast for a flood warning a couple of days back.

Suspect arrested after RCMP officer shot during gun call on Muskowekwan First Nation
Multiple sources told 980 CJME that RCMP officers got into a shootout with the suspect, prompting the emergency alert. One Mountie was shot and suffered a head wound, but the officer is expected to be OK.
