Liberal MP Ruby Dhalla says she has been tailed by supporters of rivals and subjected to other forms of harassment as she seeks re-election in the Brampton-Springdale riding. Dhalla said that the campaign is one of the nastiest she has ever been involved with.
"I suspect these acts are coming from an opposing party. Whoever they are, they are running a fear campaign, not an election campaign," Dhalla said.

If there is truly harassment of a criminal nature occuring, then she should be reporting it to the police. If its just hecklers and political nonsense, she needs to grow up: politics has never been for the faint of heart or thin of skin.

Its not just the tactic of Harper and Co. or have we forgotten the way the NDP and Liberals have tried to utilize fear against the Conservatives and the Reform for the past 2 decades? The Hidden Agenda finally seems to have gone away but even last election there was the Liberal ads about "Stephen Harper wants soldiers in every major Canadian city. Soldiers with guns!" Now its he wants to do away with universal healthcare, use his unregistered long guns to kidnap and then eat immigrant babies every full moon...

Its not just the tactic of Harper and Co. or have we forgotten the way the NDP and Liberals have tried to utilize fear against the Conservatives and the Reform for the past 2 decades? Yep, the Liberals and NDP don't get a free pass on this one. But the Cons win the dung throwing contest by a country mile. I've yet to see another party demonize their opponents like they do. Harpers condescending tone grates under my skin like a bad rash.

that is so true. and it worked great with the Reform party. the right has re-united again, its not so easy to fling the same mud that they flung at the reformers. Heck most of the conservative supporters don't even support the ideals that the Reform party was being judged so harshly for.
