Thank gawd!!!

I can only imagine how the city would end up with the woman who once voted against bullet proof jackets for Cops, at the helm.

True, but that's not how it works at the moment. Can't fault Ford for doing what he could, trying to win...

I will fault any candidate that participates in a debate during an election where payment is required to attend. Anyone that participated should be ashamed of themselves. Were I a voter in Toronto, things like that would affect where I placed my vote.

That's because you're not a hack.
Oh dear, touched a nerve!
And you didn't use lube. You could have at least spit on it first, geez.

Generally, politicians don't get extra points for being idealistic though. Hell, I'd like to see political fund raising stopped altogether, but until that happens, anyone who doesn't fund raise doesn't stand much of a chance.

Heh, it wasn't my nerve touched. I never would have guessed you to be so sensitive about twitter. You aren't posting from a Starbucks I hope.

But a debate and a fundraiser are two different things. Everyone should have the right to attend a debate, attending a fundraiser is a choice, opinions on fundraising a different matter entirely.
